Seems like we just had one of these last month(because we did), but despite all your rage, Patch is still going back in the cage. (I know, I used that same reference like 6 months ago, but I care not. That song is awesome.)

Seriously? Black is the top 5 only? Isn't it the only cover that's never been the easy one to get?

Seriously though, isnt the 1st pvp after a new character is released that pvp's reward is the new character, right? Are you trying to get me to put more iso in Gamora D3 by making her featured for cyclops rewards??? Well played sir

Technically, this starts before the PVE finishes, by about five hours. The Gamora one should offer Cyclops.

What kind of teams are people running? I have been playing with X-Force for so long that I'm not sure what works with patch in pvp anymore. I suppose Loki would be great but I only have one green cover for him. I really would like to get that 1000p goddess cover...

It's Gamora covers. Who cares.

I'm one black cover from having Gamora cover-maxed, so I do. But she's not worth climbing to top 5 for.

Yep. :Gamora: is literally the ONLY 3 cover I have at level 40. Even Beast made it to 45 in his first pvp event.
I have her at 5/5/3... Literally have never had any desire to go higher. Maybe keeping her at level 80 in the event will get me a couple defensive wins, but for covers that's not going to help make top 5.

I'm wondering how the climb to 1,000 is going to be without X-Force. Seems like it could be tough to get the blue Thor cover without A LOT of shielding. The cynic in me wants to think that D3 did this on purpose.

Should still be easy with Goddess and Patch. I like when they run this event and the Thor one. It makes people think about team compositions.

Could be a problem for those of us who would like a Goddess blue because we don't have a usable Goddess and are going to be getting hit constantly by people with 270th level Goddesses while we try to get our third blue cover.

If this was a weekend PVP, I might try for it - assuming I've got a blue cover coming in about 70 days, I only need two more blues beyond that - but I suspect it's going to be more frustration than it's worth.

Patch with 5 green and someone to mitigate the strike tiles he gives the opposing team (Loki, GT, etc...) can kill pretty much anyone very quickly.

Been using Hulk and Daredevil. Patch's green and DD's purple is a decent combo. I'm sure there are better combinations out there though.

For the Thora-deprived community like myself, Patch/Blade/LDaken has been working nicely for me. Also had fun with Hood/Doom in the early stages of climb but I don't think that can work against higher level teams. The nice thing about Doom is he wipes the blue out to keep away from Thora.

I've been working with DD and Spidey, matching pink (I mean purple) and green to get protect tiles and prepare to go Berserk and then dismiss the unwanted strike tiles, which there are fewer of, because of my protect tiles taking up space, works pretty well.

I personally would chose to go against a 270 Xforce over a 249 Patch anytime. At least with Xforce you can match damage him down while denying AP whereas with Patch he will just heal for anything that isn't a huge cascade or special ability. I also think Berserker Rage is far more devastating than X-force and possibly surgical strike depending on the board. If you have no way of clearing out the enemy strike tiles you're looking at huge damage in return.

Not having a Goddess I'll be using mags and loki. They pretty much work perfectly with there being only 1 shared active color and multiple abilities that can cause cascades.
