Players, especiall transitioning players, have been asking for chances for iso, hp, and covers. It's not always about vets.

I'm with you guys, the new Cyclops are is absolutely horrible. He looked better in the 90's x-Men cartoon sure, but even his X-Force costume or something earlier would have worked...

Got to save some options for 4* Cyclops.

The article mentions Avengers vs Xmen. Is that why D3 chose to use this version? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

Avengers vs Xmen, Civil War, Secret Invasion, Annihilation Wave; so many Marvel stories/events to choose from. Wishful thinking on my part again, but Annihilation Wave would be an awesome Survival Mode event. Wave after wave of Nega-Zone bugs then a final battle with Annihilus, (not sure on spelling, but I'm referring to the big bug guy with the control rod that rules the negative zone).

Ahhh well, I just hope this version of Cyclops does mean AvX.

Despite cyclops being badass in A xs X I found the writing pretty terrible, and some of the art too. I leant it to a friend who isn't too into comics, but always enjoys the epic series, civil war, fear itself, ect. He said he tried a few times to get through it and couldn't even make it half way. A vs X and my varient collection of them are the most modern marvel comics i wil ever buy, although I heard the new silver surfer is ok...hmm.

Can anyone explain to me what the hint "the spot has been marked" meant? I had been trying to guess who the new character was with this hint, and couldn't come up with it.

Funny thing is at one point I had guessed Cyclops but for the wrong reasons. While racking my brain with this one, I had turned the clue into "X marks the spot" and was trying to think of pirates named Mark. Then the name Marc Summers popped in my head and I spent a minute thinking that was Cyclops' name before rememberng that was the host of Double Dare on Nickelodeon. Oops!

But I still don't know how the clue fit for Scott. Maybe saying "beaming" with excitement might have been too on the nose ?

I new they didn't listen to us...but wow.

That FB poll from last year said (most) of us wanted to see Gambit 1st.

What did they give us? Scott, the only other X-person who could have been anywhere from (early days) to (phoenix force).

Oh well. At least it is an X-person. New roster slot incoming!
