Greetings everyone,

X-men fans rejoice! We are excited to announce that Cyclops is coming soon to Marvel Puzzle Quest! To gather up juicy details on this fan-favorite - you can read a new interview with MPQ producer, Joe Fletcher at Marvel.com.

    Hey, at least they're promoting roster diversity by making a required character. Don't think people can complain when the format gives out 3* covers as an award, since I'm assuming the problem most transition players have is covering up the characters they already have, not getting new characters to cover up.

    Why not Classic Cyclops?

    That Cyclops is hideous....

    Also, what health class is he in?

    6800 health characters start at 1760 hp at level 40.
    8500 health characters start at 2200 hp at level 40.

    So will he have a new max health of 7650?

    Also wishing it was the classic cyclops, ugh, my nostalgia is not being pampered adequately here. *stamps foot*

    Me too- I had never even seen that weird Cyclops before, looks like on of those green suit guys at the Canuck games

    Me too. His Ability Menu has the right visor, at least. You know, Contest of Champions has the same version of Cyclops. I bet this is a "Marvel game universe" thing.

    Did I see a guarenteed 2* Taco on one of those screenshots? The Devs must be feeling mighty generous.

    I actually think the graphics look pretty good. His optic blast where he's wide spread shooting at the top of the screen is sweet.

    Based on the screenshot the enemy levels are set way too low for a teamup node to work in the required nodes (60ish) so they're kind of shooting themselves in the foot here. That is, you could have 3 base level 3*s at 1/0/0 and there's a decent chance they can beat 3 level 60s so that wouldn't really promote any kind of roster diversity had the node been team-up instead because anybody can eventually beat it with only the loaners.

    In general I think for there to be any roster diversity you got to require all 3 characters to be fixed because otherwise X Force or even just someone decent like Patch or Daken going 1 on 3 is still better than 3 weak guys put together.

    Really excited about Cyclops, and while I would've preferred his more classic look, I like this one just fine.

    However, the best part is the announcement from DP3 themselves about the Daily PVE. It's almost taco time, guys.

    I'd say that the classic blue Cyclops is definitely a 2* coming in the next couple months.

    How long did it take for reverse-lazy Capt. marvel and Torch?

    Damn, i just entered semi-retirement now they do this to me!?! **** now i gotta find a way to play again...

    Wish it was the good ole 90s version but ill take this one too icon_e_wink.gif
