  • I wasn't aware but if you are correct about hulk in standards / heroic then that's awesome news. Maybe soon we will hear it of punisher.
  • The "Skip Tax" won't be introduced until R47. I believe it's been said that more ISO will be awarded. We don't know how much ISO and we don't know what the tax is. There's nothing yet to complain about.

That, and this is the topic for the patch preview icon_rolleyes.gif

It would have to be asynchronous. You get x amount of turns against the AI, then your opponent gets x amount of turns against the AI. You keep swapping until one is defeated.

Another way is both players face against the other (with the AI fighting on your behalf) and the person with the quickest winning time wins the match.

Obviously this wouldn't be completely satisfying but at least would represent a different type of PVP that would require different strategies.

I just think the amount of overhead/cash it would require to do true PVP would be way too much. Not to mention all the headaches of connections lost, bad latency and having to police charges of hacking.

The point you are missing is "true pvp". Nothing you said is really one mind competing against another in direct combat. These are just as hollow as the forms if pvp we already have just different variations.

Anything new on the no daily rewards bug that was introduced some time back? Been stuck on day 78 for weeks.

EDIT - Also not a big fan of the charge to skip. My strategy is to skip until I find an opponent higher than me so the retaliation is mediated. If I am compelled to fight lower scores then I will get blasted in retaliation. Guess it is incentive to buy the shields.

Not in R46, no. R46 was in the approvals process before the daily rewards bug got to be "a thing", so it wouldn't have been fixable then. If you haven't already, send in a support ticket. Depending on what your issue is precisely, someone may be able to flip a flag manually and jumpstart the rewards.

Ok, thanks. I had assumed it was broken for everyone. I sent in a ticket.

So is there an eta for this patch? I know you cant give us an exact date due to pr reasons, but a handwavey answer such as "by the end of the week" would suffice.
  • Yay the patch fixed keybindings on PC.
    Much appreciated icon_e_wink.gif

Err... now? If you don't have it available yet, it's because Apple/Google hasn't propagated it to every region yet. That's on them though unfortunately, we can't do much about how fast they flip switches.

Oh, right, forgot about that one. Added that to the Patch Notes. Nice catch!

Now, if only we could get the scroll wheel to actually scroll in this game, we'd be onto something icon_razz.gif

Can't get it until I get home. Because every patch is an entire game file (150MB), I have to be on a wifi network. I'm stuck on cell at my office. icon_e_sad.gif

EDIT: Further to Crazy's post below, it was just pushed in my region, as well--Apple, west coast US.

Apple just pushed it out in my region (east coast USA)
  • just got the patch ... did I notice a UI change? When I did a venom prologue mission to heal my guys during the lightning round, I noticed there was a ... fade effect transition between the mission screen and the character select screen?
  • Just got it on Steam, keyboard support is back! Woohoo!

Also, it "feels" to be running faster than normal. No complaints here.
  • I haven't looked through all the changes so far and I'm sure there are some good ones I have yet to discover (hopefully). But my very first reaction was..."So now we have to put on reading glasses to see what levels the characters are..."

Agreed, I have 20/15 vision and I thought the font was tiny

Yea, not a fan. Also, not a fan of the gems being ontop of your character in battle.

I am noticing that if I enter the character select screen, then back out, there are "ghost bubbles" as the game returns to the mission select page. They look like mission-select-sized bubbles arranged haphazardly across the map, not lined up with the actual missions, and there is a - through them, like the "Do Not Enter" sign. Is this unique to my and my computer, or have other people been experiencing it?

Update: And the bottom left corner of the screen (I am doing this on HAMMER, by the way) says Chapter_TheHulk_Parent. icon_eek.gif
In fact, I can also see the Hulk main missions progression bar in the top center of the screen. Hmmmmm.
It also happens in Venom. I think this is a bug, so I'll move it to that forum.
