Best pissing on player decision made?

Watching the state of the recent decisions which the devs have been making, I am convinced of one thing. The devs are trying very hard to piss off all the gamers.

Now, the developers work really hard to piss everyone off, and to piss on everyone. Now I think that they should deserve some form of recognition for their work. So, I started this poll to help them understand which decisions are the ones made that pisses us off the most, and help them make such similar decisions again in future.

I'm sure the devs will appreciate knowing the fact that their hard work and effort to piss off everyone is working as intended.

Remember. If you are pissed off, that is good news, the devs are working hard on their jobs.

Chose a few options, but seriously gouki, we get it already
  • Spoit, I can understand you voting that last option.

But you didn't vote for the Shield price hike?

    Seriously?

Oh i didn't see it, but honestly, if it weren't for the other 2, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Like I said in the other thread, 1.2k was doable, if not fun, before shields and the higher point thresholds
  • they just want to profit as much as they can icon_lol.gif
keep reminding me, no need to spend money if someday ur char will be nerfed. i won't max any 3star hero beyond 100, fearing someday there will be nerf. no complain, cause i don't spend any modey.still getting to top 5-top 10 each tourney.

the player who spend considerable amount is the ones who are pissed wikt lots of this changes
  • "The most" contradicts the multiple selection nature of the poll. As such I call hijinx and refuse to take part in what must be an NSA scam to get me to divulge my social security number that they already have.
  • OMG I'm busted!!! Soenottelling, how did you find out?!?!!?
  • I would like to know why Americans do not consider piss, pissing and piss(ed) off as profanity. Couldn't care less about the poll.
  • I honestly don't understand why you devote so much time to something you so clearly hate.
  • My choice is their lax forum moderation that allows $hitty forums posters to whine incessantly in every post they make.

  • Devs have more or less confirmed that a respec system is in the works.

I understand how it's frustrating to have certain characters that you've spent a lot of money and time on to be rendered obsolete through a patch with no real avenue of recourse. That being said, game balance is in the interests of this game's longevity and some characters were/are fairly obviously overpowered. But it does feel that the player base are largely forced to partially pay the price of some poor initial game balance design choices on the part of the developers with no remedy available and I sympathise with those players.

The developers are working hard to get balance right and new features out to us and for that we're mostly appreciative. Yes, ideally some of it could have been handled better and there are always going to be those who are genuinely aggrieved, but keep in mind the developers have limited resources as well. They are communicating changes more frequently these days and are engaging with the community a lot more, which is a positive thing.

As for the shields, well I think it's complicated. Progression rewards were unattainable beforehand. When shields were first introduced, they were intended to help with that as well as give developers another way to make a little more money. But it made progression a little too easy and after a few adjustments, pvp tournaments are now thrown a little off course. The developers are just playing with this relatively new concept and hopefully they'll get it right in due time.

Do you have something against Americans? That was uncaused for. We dont insult your country and probably could care less about it. I understand you dont care for this topic but . . .
  • The increase of pack price also gave us daily deals which are much cheaper than before.

Nerfs were given along with buffs as well.

1400 was near impossible, 2400 was not--just a lot of work.

Nothing is set in stone. Anything can change with regards to shields, skipping, respecs, etc.

Don't bypass the filter. It's there for a reason.
  • And you guys wonder why I'm an A-hole to this guy.

He said nothing bad about us Americans, simply expressing confusion why the word piss isn't filtered along with **** and ****.
  • I never got anything good in a Heroic pack. Storm's passive skill was crazy giving Thor 6 red. 2400 was obviously reachable, considering people in my bracket from Ares: Round 1 were at 2800+. Ragnarok was OP, but I agree the nerf bat took him out from the neck down. Doubling the price of shields does marginalize players. Being attacked by lower opponents is a product of people complaining about seeing the same people over and over; and simultaneously helping others to get to the top. Once in your in the top 5. you're screwed. Only my observation. The price for skipping is something forum members have mentioned and they implemented it. I don't like it, but someone else does. The respec is in the works.

All in all, We all feel something from every change. The Rag change makes me not what to put any money into characters. Nerfing him made since. Nerfing Thorverine doesn't. Yes my Thorverine is maxed out, but who's isn't? I believe these changes are targeted at separating the weak from the strong, the poor from the rich, and cutting play time down so as we all are playing for the same rewards at the same time.

MMR sucks, Rubberbanding is horrid, and buying skills leaves a salty taste in your mouth. We all feel the burn. You're not alone.

Eh mech is the biggest whiner on the forums so its not completely unexpected that he gets trolled for yet another whine thread.

    *edit* god damn autocorrect....

LOL - where did I say anything bad about Americans? Long time player and forum poster mate, made some pretty good friends through this game and many of them are American. What I don't get, is why America censor certain swear words, yet something which is considered profanity in the UK is pretty much ignored.

Sorry if I pissed you off and you took it the wrong way. icon_e_wink.gif

It's weird to think about the differing profanities. 'Pissed' is pretty far away from being profanity in America, though certainly has negative connotation. *shrug*
