If I can resist the urge, I wait until the event is over...for example, I tried to with this latest pve, saved up 26 tokens, 18 of which were standard, the other heroic and ISO-8...I was going to wait but couldn't help it, I got 4 gold covers, one of which I was a red elektra. 1 came from standard tokens. It just always seem to be less disappointing when I do it like this. As opposed to just opening as soon as I get...I get nothing, could go a whole month of nothing doing it like that.

After trying a lot of these suggestions (sans self-pleasure-based rituals), I do think 1 practical takeaway is that it's better to save up a lot of tokens. The odds are the same and so are the results, but I don't mind as much as long as I get 1 or 2 gold covers. Even if I burned the same number of tokens and waited longer, getting at least 1 gold per cash-in session results in less frustration for me (the increased token awards help a lot as well). But that may just be the result of a pretty good few days of token-luck.

Open standard tokens in batches of 5 to 20 at 11:00 pm EST. If I hit a gold cover, I will wait another 12 hours before opening more tokens. I dont believe I'll draw two gold in a row, so I'd rather let my RNG chances "reset" by waiting a few hours.

I usually open everything straight away because I have no patience.
Yesterday I blanked all 8 of my ISO-8 brotherhood tokens, but opened 3 standard tokens in a row afterwards and got 2 golds and

In general, it feels like more than 50% of my tokens have been covers this season

Yeah, I think for this 1 week, I think I get 5 , 5 blue and 2 purple for 2* Hawkeye, from Rewards, Token etc.

For me, I try out many ritual before opening token, none really stick.
