If you knew your time slices sub leader was going to do all the refreshes you might just be able to rubber band that - not worked out the numbers for the final sub yet - but it would be a risk.

    I'm giving up. Points are just too low. Last two nodes are randomly wiping me out. Green HT will have to wait for another day.

    I don't see us adding one per minute unfortunately.

    To those still on the fence: you should join. Losing hard in a few PVE events is a good way to finally pull a mid-tier bracket when you want to compete. I hadn't gotten a good placement for quite awhile, and then ended up in a pretty easy bracket for Luke Cage.

    Sorry to here you cannot make it. Looks like the leader of my sub going to hit 70K and if I just do a final refresh in the last 3 hours I would have rubber banded my way to 51K. Hitting each node twice in the last hour would just about get me across the 55K line using the rubber band but if I am not forced to do that to maintain top 10 I will finish just shy of 55K in the final sub.

    For anyone still looking to join, slice 3 only has 131. You can join now and get a free Squirrel Girl. Slice ends in less than 3 hours. This is a vet bracket. Top 3 are Sing16, Mr Stoat and CaptainSRogers.

    Slice 4 still nowhere near full, opened Saturday morning. 439 players with 8 hours remaining, luckydog ~130K and top ten are all 100K+.

    Yeah... it happens. I had more stuff going on including more time away over the last day and at the end, but points were slightly higher towards the end which I was not expecting. The last couple of nodes though just killed it with 80+ levels above my roster. I managed to reach 40k+ which wasn't too terrible (yet another 2* cover) and just outside top 50, which was a little annoying but such is this game. Had there been a couple more refreshes, I may have made it. That's the thing about this game - if you can't actually be here, you can't actually get to where you'd like, hehe. The proposed new daily PvE will be interesting to see.

    Not to worry. Onto the next one.

    Thanks again for your numerical insight on these broader themes. It's always very interesting to read.
