  • I wonder if they will nerf C. Magneto moments after the Lightning Rounds end this week. He is a beast unbuffed; the change to a mere 100% buff in LR just means that he will chew through Rag and Doom much faster.

    I'm not sure exactly what the timeline is on changes, but Mags getting changed that quickly is quite unlikely.

    Don't buff Mags in the next Lightning Round.

    That should be an easy fix, and might "fix" him enough to soften the adjustment.

    Any chance you are going to give us an idea of what to expect from upcoming balancing? Would be nice to know what to expect in terms of play and such...

    We'll give info on changes once they're finalized but before they go live for anyone in that list. Can't guarantee that changes will always be that way 100% of the time, may have to make emergency changes on some characters "unannounced"(see: MAA and Doom preventing all debuffs) but that's our plan moving forward.

    Doom should be able to prevent debuffs, he's underpowered in the game.

    At the risk of going horribly off topic, I agree. He should have double Armory/Hero bonuses to account for the lack of extra hero support at the very least. Full debuff protection (barring Bologna or something like that for one round) on the other hand was a bit much.
  • With these recent changes to characters i find myself excited to actually try in the lightning rounds. I understand it will still be tough however, without the 5-10% of the population being able to spam rags red ability the last 10-15 minutes of the round, I will stand a chance at a diabolical token.   • Hmm. I have a player "thereck" hitting me twice every minute in the Doom round. Should he even be able to find me that often? I just got out of a match to three losses to him, and ONLY to him. He is running 120 hulk, 90 mags, 40 doom, against my 115 rags, 90 doom 90 mags. I even threw my 120 hulk back at him and it didn't slow him down at all. I don't care because I was just ISO farming before throwing out bagman, but what the hell?

    That guy again, others have been saying similar things the last few weeks about him. I hadn't seen him before he won the last hulk event.

    Yea doom is underwhelming. Nico is better straight up and only takes up 1 slot.

    Yeah there I has been beating me multiple times in under a minute. No way that is actually possible with load times and whatnot. Is he cheating and does d3 ban people for it?

    I cannot say whether or not he is on the level, but I can say that those of us in MMR hell commonly see the same three or four opponents in rapid succession. When I see one that I can beat, I hit that person as soon as I see him, again and again.

    Unless I recognize their name from the forums and they are not tanking.

    I was in MMR hell before it was cool..believe me I know how it works. I'm saying there's no way that team could take mine out 3 times in 2 minutes, let alone find me. Magneto and Hulk can each one hit someone, but that takes 24 ap plus a whole lot of blue on the board AND green saved up.

    Again, I don't care beyond it being a bit suspicious. The only covers I have left to get are 2 ares and now Patch
