To completely honest, I certainly don't either, and I was skeptical from day 1 that we'd ever see a meaningful change to the 1100/1300 awards.

Based on their track record, I don't see them changing Progressions, during Season X, after Season X, or any other time.

    To fix PvP:
    1) If you skip somebody, you Never See Them Again!
    2) Reward progressions come down.
    3) Pick your poison. You select your difficulty bracket, if you select medium you are guaranteed never to see or be able to use a 4* in a match. If you select low, you never see or get to use a 3*. Rewards reflect difficulty!
    4) Random matches! I should not be able to go into an event knowing exactly what team I'm going to face and exactly what point level I'm going to see them! That is lazy developing! It indicates a broken system and the fix is not to nerf more characters, change to the system itself is needed. Matches not based on opponents points but luck of draw.

    To fix PvE:
    1) **** Heroic Events for new characters!
    2) Post progression top prize awards. Bagged your 3* top prize? Great! Here's a thousand iso for every 10k points you achieve past that. Or a heroic token or something of value.
    3) Scaling is one thing, but deciding that I have played the game long enough and that all my hard work on my roster and upgrading my covers should mean that it should be ramped difficulty wise to punish me up to the point that **** goons get to destroy my best team without breaking a sweat....that is ****. The harder you work shouldn't equal exponential increases in difficulty.

    Overall fairness:
    1) Fix the MMR. You shouldn't be able to upgrade to the point of unplayability.
    2) Better rewards at better odds.
    3) Slow down. Instead of seeing how many characters you can cram into this thing, maybe you should see about fixing some bugs! Had all kinds of connection problems since the patch, lost 40 points in PvP again today! This should never happen!
    4) With constant influx of new covers you are making this game work - not fun! Listen to your fans before it is too late! Characters should be special, not something you have to earn for the next event and never need or use again. 12 new covers a year, only one or at max two should be 4*. At the rate you are going you will have 20 4* by the Second Anniversary and five 5*s.
    5) Standard token, health pack, boost, iso, event token that never pans out...these are **** rewards. Mix it up a little! Bring back heroic tokens as rewards! Iso Prizes should go up, never down! 250, 500, 250, 1000, 250...whatever it is.

    For Fun:
    1) How about a never ending survival event, with rewards based on your points when your team is finally wiped? Maybe even being able to make substitutions in. Imagine a a never ending line of enemies and as your team falls new heroes enter randomly until your last guy falls then you get a reward based on your score.
    2) Finish the Dark Avengers storyline. Then give us entirely new storylines. Enemy of The State was a great start. How about new permanent prologue events?
    3) Deadpool was the last new character to have his own event and it was awesome! More events like that and a guaranteed featured cover like in the Hulk and Sentry events is perfect. A token that gives you an increased percentage chance (clear up to 2.3%!!!) is not very satisfactory.
    4) The anniversary event lightning rounds were great and so were the 50hp tokens. Bring stuff like that back into rotation from time to time.
    5) More information for alliance commanders. Let us see more detailed info like when somebody last logged in. Fix scoreboard bugs.
    6) Have a voting event like Pinball Arcade does. Let us select which new cover we want and give it to us in a new event a few months down the line. I want Silver Surfer! I have never heard of Squirrel Girl.

Lol, this one made me laugh.
Pinball Arcade really is a fitting comparison, as these are the only developers that rival Demiurge in implementing new bugs with every added feature, breaking stuff that worked before implementing new stuff, and having ZERO QA and playtesting icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Well played, sir.

Glad you liked it! icon_cool.gif I do love Pinball Arcade though. I'm sure it's the only way I'll ever be able to play Attack From Mars. Why do my two favorite games have to be so buggy?
  • So for what it's worth (which is very little, because I never expected an honest answer), at the tag end of a support ticket last week I asked if support could provide an update on any forthcoming modifications to the PVP progression rewards. Their answer: what do you mean by "modify?"
