    I'm Gonna love using this guy until you nerf him ^_^

    So I noticed that Doom is the latest beneficiary of the color correction. Yellow was pretty bland and then we had Thor, Sentry (pre nerf), and BP (post buff). Black was becoming a weak color and then we had BP and X Force. Red was losing its relevance and then we had Gorgon (no one said this is fair to players). Purple, although surprisingly overpowered, tends to lack the big number stuff and now we have Doom winning the lottery to be the new spokesman for purple. So who is going to be the guy with the overpowered blue ability? Or is blue forever stuck paying for the sins of owning pre nerf ATU, pre nerf Magnetic Field, and currently still having Dormammu's Aid?

    Between our rigorous event schedule and the different time offsets, it's always going to be mid-event for someone. Things will change in the game, sometimes for you the change will be mid-event. There's really no way around it. Doom's ability was part of the R68 update, so in a funny way you choose (unknowingly) to have him change mid-event.

    Mystique has a preety awsome Blue. It might not do damage but it is a purple/Black AP gernerator. My Mystique has no ISO yet when she was essential I ran X-Force, Deadpool and she made everything AWSOME especially when the other teams strongest color was Purple. Mystique's Blue to Surgical Strike to Whales. Surgical strike also did enough board shake up that I could start all over again if I wanted too.

    Miles, can you tell us if any powers specifically designed to interact with traps are in the works? (As compared to things like Anti-Gravity Device, Double Double Cross, etc.)

    And now we'll face Doom with 5 in purple in PvE way before we have a chance to get 1 new cower for ourselves. Thanks, devs.

    For me Doom was always a character I found hard to use myself, but very dangerous to play against. Now his usefulness shall not change for a while, while he became even more dangerous to face. This is my happy face icon_evil.gif

    When is the last time there was NO event going on? And if that ever did happen, how much would you enjoy the game given you'd have nothing but prologue missions to play?

    Found this update the same way I found icon_daredevil.pngicon_hood.png & icon_loki.png , playing a match and suddenly a new power kicks me in the balls, but that's half the fun.
    What I'm really asking about is i play on PC through steam and I got a pop-up to connect to facebook. I said yes but the connection timed out. The window also said these settings can be changed anytime. Is that feature really included for PC players in this update ? or was that just a mistake?

    I'll have like 19 or so hours with literally nothing to do. I'm strangely okay with it.

    Sure, but that's just because of the slices you chose. There will still be events going on for other people.

    Can you imagine the outcry if there were actually no events going on at all for anyone?

    Sure, but that's just because of the slices you chose. There will still be events going on for other people.

    Can you imagine the outcry if there were actually no events going on at all for anyone?

    Oh, I know. But there are times that are naturally closer to between events, and - more importantly - they could have communicated this change ahead of time so people did the update whenever they were personally between events.

    The change wouldn't affect PvP much, because most of the players would not have this cover yet. So the real question should be why HE WAS UPDATED MID PvE EVENT?
    And the best way to introduce this update would be like it was done with Loki: by doing an event with a new cover as a reward first.

    The ability text seems to suggest that traps still belong to each character ("Doom deals X damage plus X damage for each of his Traps"). Certainly, we already see this in effect when Daredevil, Fury or Elektra is taken out while they have traps active.

    Does this mean that I can't team Doom up with Fury (to spam out traps faster) and have them all go off together? Do Fury's traps recognise that they are different from Doom's traps? That is: Can I detonate a plan?

    Surely this must have been answered somewhere else already - I'm just certain that we've never truly had a reason to get as many traps as possible into play before.

    I love the new ability, active/passive is a great idea! Are the traps he creates specific to purple tiles only or will they be on any tile?
