    How do we change the start time if we select the wrong one by mistake?

    Sorry, if this is posted elsewhere.

    I want to select the bottom ending time. It won't let me. What can i do?

    Yes it does, I am seeing my local timezone for all my choices which is well off of your times.

    Picked 10 PM CET on Friday night.
    Curious to see how this goes - but being able to go to bed at 10 (or do other stuff) is definitely preferable to playing Marvel until midnight AND then still have to get up at 6 for the final hops in the last hour if a new char is on the line in PVP.

    So, cautiously optimistic for now.

    It's posted in the bugs forum. I think people have confirmed it across all platforms between this thread and that one, and I would guess you will be out of luck for this event. Developers referred to this as a beta test, so it's best to note anything that seems odd or isn't working the way you would expect. If you really want that time, wait a day and see if the developers respond before joining - it might be a quick fix.

    Others have noted that you are bracketed when you select your end time vs. when you play your first match. I don't really mind this behavior, but it isn't what I expected so it's worth noting.

    Is there a way to view the rewards before joining?

    It seems like I have to join the PVP before I can find out what the ranking and progression rewards are?

    Well done Demiurge for doing this. End times have been the bane of this game for over a year now.

    I personally dont give a rats **** about how it affects final alliance placements, if players are as dedicated to their alliances as they make out they will do their very best to score high no matter what time they have selected. If you can score over 1000 points at the moment there is no real reason why you shouldnt be able to in the future.

    Again well done and kudos for the best new feature introduced in the history of the game. Now give me an offline quest mode :p

    Which time zone are the end times displayed in? I'm not so sure it's my own, as I get to choose between 12 PM, 6 PM and 2 AM. Weird.

    You can know the time zone the end times are displayed in by looking at the current time displayed. If the current time is the same as the current time for you, then the end times displayed are in your own time zone. If not, then I guess you have to adjust based on the time difference (or for the time slices that have already started, you can look at the number of hours left in the event).

    While I like the idea of varying time zones, I find it pretty weird that the end times do not have the same intervals. They jump between a 6 hour interval, 3 hour interval and back again.

    Liking the look/feel of this so far - shall reserve ultimate judgement for how it performs (albeit generous judgement, due to initial trials!). So far, cautiously optimistic, and even if it takes a few events to 'perfect', am really pleased that they did something to address this issue. star.png

    For Smash hit, choosing the start and end time whatever worked just fine for me. The problem I'm having with it is that even though I've won 5 games, I have 0 points. I didn't realize this until the 4th match and I did a 5th match to verify that I was having an issue. Has anyone else come across this problem?

    Same problem. I think the issue is the event still hasn't started when we played because of the ending time we chose. They should just put an "event starts in: x hours, x minutes" notification and prevent playing until it starts. That would prevent the confusion.

    I don't like that it puts you right into a bracket after you select your start time. Not sure if it's intended or not.

    I wish the actual old end times were options....

    Mine were 6AM (no good, cause thats right when i wake up to go to work)

    12PM (no good, cause i'm at work)

    and 6PM (no good, cause i'm in my car on my way home from work).

    As it has been so far, half of the events ended about 11pm at night or so, i could always go hard at those. All 3 of those options would put me at a big disadvantage because i can't prioritize them very effectively, while other people in those brackets could presumably do so.

    My take on this whole thing:
    1. I couldn't scroll down to choose the last end time on my device (iPhone 5 w/ iOS 8.1). Minor since it's not a time I'd pick, but still annoying.
    2. The provided end times are no better for me than the old ones. my options are (local time EST +1):
      1. 11am Friday (working)
      2. 5pm Friday (commuting)
      3. 8pm Friday (putting kids to bed)
      4. 2am Saturday (old end time)
      5. 5am Saturday (sleeping)
    3. Unlike what I'm seeing reported from others, I can't start my event yet. I chose the 2am local end time and I now have an "Event In: XXh YYm" banner on the event card.
    So while I generally applaud D3 for coming up with this and beta testing it, I think they need to refine the end times a bit better to accommodate people in odd time zones

    Basically you want the slices to be an hour each? that might be too small. there are no times that are optimal for everyone. Heck I would not be surprised to see someone complain about end times that were in 1 hour slices that nothing was convenient for him.

    Yeah, they have to limit the slices in order to accomodate reasonable sharding in each bracket. I'm actually pleased / surprised that theres as many as there are.

    For what it's worth, my ideal time isn't catered for either (around midday to 2pm GMT) but there's no way I'm complaining!

    Slices, sharding, brackets. What the hell has MPQ done to my vocabulary!?

    I want to see what the rewards are without locking myself into an end time. So far, that is my only complaint.

    one thing is that the icon_exclaim.gif icon has stayed up ever since I was able to choose which event time I want to enter. I choose my end time, but I am still see the red icon_exclaim.gif now everytime I log in it looks like I have a new event. It will probably go away once I officially enter, but it should fall off once I choose an event time and then pop up when my event time is available to enter.
