I guess I should be clearer. By the last set I mean the missions in the last sub bracket. Last time, everyone obviously thought there would be one final sub-bracket and that turned out to be wrong, so most people (including me) fell short because there's nothing left to grind when you hit that final 5 missions. I was like 325 points short of 50K, and I was pretty sure I had more than that left in the final sub-bracket but figured I can just grind the final set, and I'm pretty sure that was what most people were thinking too.

I got the 2000 points as well. Twice. It got me really high into the list and now I'm at 46k. Of course now I'm in the 56th place, so my points should start diminishing pretty fast unless everyone else rubber bands past me, which wouldn't make me sad either.

Really the only reason I want to get into the top 300 anyway is it will give me a third cover for X-Force Wolvie, which makes him even remotely viable as a character to play around with.

I'm 100% sure I got 2000 from a single punisher mission at least 4 times. Wouldn't bet the house on the last time... there were few minutes left and I was in a rush to farm other missions, but I think it was 2k too. I had not played the missions at all in the previous 24h so I had max rubberbanding multiplier for sure.

That's somewhat different. I thought you meant 10k from a single play through on a single mission. I've gotten 2k from missions as well.

I do still have an issue with getting 10k, or even 8k, from playing a single mission 5x though -- that's more than I received for grinding both submissions the entire 24h.

Usually those 2k missions scale down fairly quickly after I beat them twice. It will go:

2k,2k,1200, 800, 600 ... etc

It reduces the point totals of the other 4 missions, too.

It does for people who are nearish the top. If he hadn't played the entire day, or the missions before that, then it wouldn't.

And the only reason I'm kvetching is because it puts him at roughly the same point total as those of us who are grinding. Rubber banding should only catch you up some... not all. At least it's no longer putting you in first place though.

Sadly i've been thinking about this during the whole time this second round.
Is that all of the first half of the event are low to mid point values and then then last few days they skyrocket the values of the missions and thus allowing people with insane rubberband multipliers to just rocket past many people who have put in multiple days of work for little to no effort at all.

I hope during the next event that they keep the mission values somewhat level through out the entire event to prevent this type of abuse.
Sure rubber banding is fine to some degree, but lets not allow people to completely destroy any semblance of fair play.

I for one am pretty possitive at this point I'll hit 50k. I'm currently in #237 spot with a bunch of missions I could grind down and 6 more mission resets before the end of the event. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot in situations similar to mine hit the 50k by the end of these current Sub-Missions. The top guy is only 2700 away from it at this point

I personally don't have any questions about whether or not I'll get it. It's just a question of if it will be this sub mission or the next.

I'm pretty sure that at this point the first go around we were just breaking 40k, not 47k.

The last 12 hour period yes. But we have 42 hours until then. So unless the last sub-missions have a base drop we should be fine

eh true i keep thinking that we only had 24hrs or so and that we were on the last sub set of missions before the final 4.
Oh on the off note, my god is it such a grind when you're in the top 1500 during the entire event O.o

I've mentioned before but if you hit the top few stacks of each mission a few hours after reset and then grind a little in the last hour of each sub mission its not that bad of a grind and is pretty easy to stay in top 1500 or even 300. Don't know where that will put me at the end of the event but top 1500 is about as good as top 300 anyway

OK yeah this might be doable. The rubberbanding took me all the way to 48k from just depleting the one 200 point base mission. Going to wait to fall back into the thousands before I do the rest of the missions
