    Have Mercy, Colognoisseur. I hadn't get my hopes up for that blue fury until 8 hours out. (hope had just started creeping in before I noticed your name come into the top 10.)

    I should have known better than to rest on the laurels of a 400 point lead in any event...

    Alas. I will know to run harder, sooner next time. Lesson learned.

    I think it's a few things -

    Devil Dino rewards (which we're probably getting all week, I suspect, but we're not sure yet).
    The 3000 point ten-pack (this is by far the easiest event, in all likelihood, to run up your score in).
    Deadpool reward at 1100
    and, most of all, that sweet, sweet Green IW.

    Yeah... I can usually get to the top 25 with a score of 750 or so. In this one, I'm at 54 with a 739. I'm just not going to bother - I'll take my purple and go.

    Just need to vent about matchmaking somewhere.

    I have a few maxed 3*'s. Deadpool is not one of them -- I'm using loaner Deadpool -- but because I have some maxed 3*'s, I'm stuck facing walls of 270 XF/NF + 249 DP. At least I managed to scrape over 300 for a token (with a Dino inside!).

    As long as that sort of luck holds up, I'll be ok.

    In the sentry PvP, my ~600 was good for 50th. Now I've got to break the shield when deadline comes just too stay in the top hundred. Yikes.

    I feel you, man... I'm tired of being matched up against the titans (XF/NF/Sen/LDak/Hood) with only one of them usable for me (Hood). You'd think with maxed Thor, Patch, Hulk, Punisher, BP, and CMags to back him up with fully covered and usable-but-unmaxed Cap, Psylocke, GSBW, and Spidey on deck I'd be a tougher opponent. Guess not. This event has been a slaughterhouse for me. Ouch.

    I dumped my 280k iso reserve into my star.pngstar.pngstar.png characters, set a new personal high at 1245. Good for 13th, not even close to the leaders. Yay!

    I added over 600 points to my personal record. Hit the magic 2K for the first time....

    Hit a new personal high score, 1845. That was good for 5th place. That was crazy.

    And slipped just outside of the top 100 again. Like 6th or 7th time recently.

    I love losing all my hard earned points. Said no one ever.

    I want to return my cover in protest.

    Thanks Mr Random attacker. Your failure in the last 10 minutes brought me up the necessary points to go from 30th to 21'st place. I appreciate the extra cover.

    I was around 160 pts out of fifth near the end, so decided to make a final hop with 8 mins to go. Five quick wins, no whammies, and ended up in 4th with 1685 - icon_e_biggrin.gif .

    For a couple other guys in my bracket - is there a reason to break shield three times in ten minutes? I was doing a play by play for my alliance before I broke shield and ended up confused.

    Heh, nice push at the end Ryz. Surprised you didn't get hit at least once in that last 10m or so.

    I shield hopped more than I wanted - the mix of adrenaline, fear and some nutter doing a 160 point push made me do it icon_e_wink.gif

    That was brutal. Hit a new personal best with 1818, and finished 5th in my bracket.

    Let's hope the next PvP will be far less strenuous since it's Rag rewards!!

    I set a new personal high score of 1462, and that was good enough for first in my (relatively) lazy bracket. Blue fury cover is nice, and it was my first ever top 1 finish! Hurray! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Hahaha, I'm far from a regular top-end scorer. Using 6 shields in one PVP is far outside of my norm, and something I don't want to repeat. icon_razz.gif

    2088 beat my previous personal best by at least 400 points.
