I'm still below 600 since I haven't had much time to play. But I've been attacked 4 times. 3 Defensive wins, 1 loss (which I think was a retal), 2 losses from the same guy. +31 total. Huzzah!

I think t5 in my bracket would require shield-hopping all night and 1800+ in the end, so I'll settle for a T10.

Pulled a green Devil Dino from a token so I have that cover, and spending upwards of 1000 HP for T5 here when Lady Thor is just around the corner (and probably more useful in the long run) doesn't seem like a good investment.

Thinking the same here, but I'll probably aim for 1300 at least so I don't have to push as hard in the other two anniversary events to get the 10-pack progression reward. I'll actually be able to play near the end of this one, so I'll stay unshielded overnight and end up playing it by ear at the end.

I think I've got the laziest bracket I've seen for months. 1st is over 1300 but 2nd is only just over 700 and my 600ish is good enough to get me inside the top 20.

Lol. After the first retaliation, I thought you were climbing, so I left you alone in a node for about 12 hours. After the second retaliation, I realized you were not climbing, so, yea, that stopped quick.

Edit - I will say this. For some reason, I've had a lot more defensive wins than normal, only 3 defensive losses total. So congrats on that too BTW;)

I was thinking along the same lines. 1400 this event then two 800's will net me the 3K need to for the progression reward.

Nope. I just did my first climb - I'm shielded for the time being at 1026. I rarely go for the super-high scores in PVP; I"m making an exception in this one, but I still wanted to limit my shield expenses, so I didn't start until now.

And I know what you mean about defensive wins - I've had a handful (not as many as last PVP, when I think I had 200 points off of them), but more than a typical PVP.

Yep, my defensive game has been surprisingly good in this PVP. I don't know why people would hit a nearly-triple-max DP XFood team at only 800 points, but I won 3/3 defenses while idling there, and only got hit once while climbing, so yay!

Is it a feature of the character that Deadpool's skin changes to like a sleeping hat and holding a teddy bear when it's late at night? I don't own deadpool so I don't know, but mine has just changed into that.

I drew 600 HP from an anniversary token, and then a , so getting the new 4* and a free slot to put him in was kinda cool. My 2/2/2 deadpool isn't very scary, so I use the loaner a lot. Been harder to climb in this one personally, with only 1 defensive win in about 20 attacks to date. Only one 2* team bothered attacking my 107 punisher/obw defensive team, but they won too. The 3*'s are still able to eat me for lunch as usual.

What is the point threshold where you start seeing everyone? I'm over 800 but can't find anyone over 30 points.

Wow, this is brutal. Top 10 in my bracket run from 948 - 1989. I'm at 658 and only in 50th place. Everybody really wants those Dino covers!

This tournament is really helping me realize Deadpool's value on defense. Life of the Party requires you to focus on him first instead of other top priority threats like Hood or XForce, meaning you (meaning me) can't get through fights without eating some big damage (or wiping. More wiping than I care to admit.). Damn it Deadpool, you've broken the fourth wall of the metagame to troll me! How appropriate!

I think it's a few things -

Devil Dino rewards (which we're probably getting all week, I suspect, but we're not sure yet).
The 3000 point ten-pack (this is by far the easiest event, in all likelihood, to run up your score in).
Deadpool reward at 1100
and, most of all, that sweet, sweet Green IW.

Worldrunner is at the top of my bracket with 2258. I'm going to guess that the X-Men were all shooting to get to 3000 in this PvP and just fell a bit short...

My score of 1490 puts me in fifth at the moment. I'm hoping that holds. I want dino covers but I'm also really wanting the extra 6000 ISO top 5 gets.

With being at Comic Con all weekend, and minimal spotty wifi meaning minimal play time, I managed to grind up to a little under 800 earlier today. Got home 30 minutes ago and found I'd broken 900 (though I didn't get the token) due to defensive wins. At least 5 defensive wins, with 1 loss for a net of 90 points, and I'd been higher prior to that. I had left up maxed , and 166 xf
Since there were ridiculous targets out there, I made it up to 1411 before running out of health packs and shielded. Which right now has me 7th. Which is crazy.

Rather fun though.

this event really is insane....i had to go to 2k to make sure i got first. Also, my favorite team now is DP/Daken/X-Force, perfect color rainbow and not a single ability overlap.
