    Thanks for the screens. Fortunately I was able to beat it. It was close though. Only thor left at the end but he managed to beat venom on his own. About 200 short of my pun cover though. Stinks

    Woohoo! Beat it with Hood/Punisher/Wolverine team. No need for stunning them when wolvie tanks match damage, and they get no abilities off. Boosts were a must though, for sure. Sitting at 189. Please don't let points refresh!

    I decided to replace spidey with Thor and got a very lucky board. Match 5 red and match 5 yellow at start. Wolvie finished at 600 health and thur finished at like 95%

    85 thor, 85 wolvie and 60 punisher. Only wolvie bit the dust on A juggs headbutt but it was down to the wire with venom. Glad I got a token 1st time as I doubt I really want to try it again after getting crushed on 1st attempt.

    Just beat with 85 wolvie 80 Thor 30 Punisher.got 130 pts.went to tell.my son showed him.about to do it again.and it went from 130 pts to zero..... As in none. I mean really ?!?!

    In the hunt I grinded like crazy which killed my way win due to rubber banding and I lost.This event last 2 days I hit the brakes so I could get rubberbando on last day and what happens....the devs say ha change of rules again you should grinded non stop get owned el oh el heh ahem... Yeah.

    My issue isnt changing rules or rubber banding.but changing rules mid tournament is just uncool from a karma stand point. Next life as a pidgeon im poopin on someones sports car.just sayin.

    You weren't able to grind a single mission on the main map. You WERE able to grind in the sub-missions.

    Nothing changed. It had been like that since the tournament started. The only difference is that these final missions aren't locking after one attempt, which allows you to get all the rewards.

    Anyone out there actually getting all the rewards -- I hate you. I'm getting 20 ISO over and over and over... it's taking me 10 tries to just get the 2nd reward.

    Me too. I just gave up. 20 is such a demoralizing amount.

    I stopped after getting the rewards for the first two battles. It's not worth it for the time it takes or risking a bad map for the 75, 100, etc. level maps. Rather fight in the tournies and collect 70-140 per fight.

    I managed to do it with 85 Wolverine, 75 Thor, and 18 Punisher. +2 all AP, +2 red/yellow, +20% Dark Avengers boosts. The advice in this thread helped a lot. I denied red matches to Rags, sat on my red until I needed board clearing from Thor, made more strike tiles than ever before (landing ~2800 point match-3s towards the end), and generally kept the board cascade-unlikely. It didn't push me to 50k for the Pun cover, but it shored up my placement to #62, which I think may keep me in the top bracket.

    I'm not redoing it though - the idea of getting anything other than the 500 ISO reward for all that effort isn't worth it.

    Based on the comments here I went for it and got it on the second try.

    85 Thor 66 Wolverine 21 Punisher
    All Red/Yellow Black/Green for boosts
    Ragnarok Juggernaut Venom kill order

    The first time I mishit an adamantium claws instead of feral and still did alright. The second run went pretty smoothly, although I lost Wolverine late to a Venom stun and combo.

    All in all, much easier for me than the last run of the sub-missions and it pushed me 30 points over 50k.

    I can easily do all but Final Showdown with no boosts. Might be able to do it too, but a bad board would wipe me. Even so, 20 ISO for killing 3 L100 dark avengers is sad.

    I've gotten 500 and token from about half of them now. Think I'll call it. #82 as of right now.

    Man that was a tough fight.

    141 Spidey, 90 Magneto and 64 Punisher. stunlock is a godsend.

    I got through it. Punisher dead. Wolverine dead. Magneto had about 1000 HP left.

    I did it with Wolverine 84 / Cap 69 / Punisher 41 on my second attempt.

    On my first attempt, I targeted Ragnarok first. Big mistake. Juggernaut one-shotted my Wolverine from full health with Headbutt. The rest of the team fell shortly afterwards. Second try, I make Juggernaut my first target, and that worked out much better. Cap had to eat a Devour from Venom, but other than that I managed to keep the enemy team pretty much under control. The AI didn't fire a single Thunderclap until after I downed Juggernaut, and by then I had Cap's blue active to keep things from getting too crazy.

    I beat it on my first try too! Wolvie 80, Thor 85, Punisher 30. Didn't use punisher for anything other than absorbing hits here and there. Used some boosts to make sure I started with at least 5 red and spammed as many attack tiles as I could - at one point I was pulling off 2 grand attacks in a row without taking much from them (limiting their red/green uptake).
