    Hi David,

The in-game description of 2* Daken has Healing & Heat as "6 blue tiles to avoid Heat". This appears to contradict the patch notes you posted, with 5 covers of Healing & Heat supposedly being "7 blue tiles to avoid Heat". I haven't had time to check this in-game myself. Do you know which is correct, 6 or 7?
Just checked, his power actually works on 6 tiles still. So if it's supposed to be 7, it's a bug in the game.

In game, for 2* Daken, it's 6 Blue to avoid Heat.
In game, for 3* Daken, it's 7 Blue to avoid Heat.

Which almost seems silly since Daken (Classic) is supposed to be the upgrade, with reasons you'd want to have him over the 2* version. But whatevs, his healing looks exactly the same in game as it has before the change, so I'm not sure what's up with those patch notes.

Just ran Patchneto and it worked just fine. His red is a much bigger nuke and the protect tiles work really well. They even overwrote a purple strike tile for me icon_e_smile.gif I got Hawkeye's purple to go off and it is going to be devistating in 2* land. becuase it is countdown tiles if you have strike tiles out it is going to do major damage. My X-Force still needs more covers to be usefull though icon_e_sad.gif Good thing I have his team ups icon_e_biggrin.gif

I suspect we'll be getting a PVE introducing one in 44 or 68 hours.

Yea, Patch and Mags no longer synergize as well as they once did.

If Mags yellow would target special tiles first, I would be up there again, but now, not really.

And sadly Mag's change has crippled my wifes play style.
  • Well, cmags' fun was killed for me. Maybe not his effectiveness, but definitely his fun. At least xforce is more fun to use now.

I think Colossus will come out first then a Lazy Hawkeye. The dev's should want to have the player base play test Hawkeye before creating him in his 3* form. I am most likely wrong and he will get a passive that will do 8k damage and GSBW/Hawkey/Daken will become the shield hop team of choice. Boost with 6 purple. 2 Pruple matches and 2-3 green match fives. 4-6 strike tiles and Lazy Hawkey basicly has a mini world rupture!!!!

I don't want one. IMO his old self was better. New blue is **** and new red does less damage at max. New purple is good but doesn't go off often enough unless you use mnmags. Old purple kept him from taking almost all damage and saved you health packs. Of course, that's probably why they changed it. I'd rather have lazy bullseye with a cheaper black and a third ability.

Agreed. I was hoping he would be better.
He may demand pairing with characters prone to making crit matches and a he still needs a meat shield.

Even with the 500 HP bump he's still too squishy. and i find the purple gets cleared way too easily, I'll have to see if it gets better at 2 CD tiles vs 3CD. he's still a slave to the board, more so than a lot of characters. The basic-tile-only crutch really **** his "targeted tile placement". Overall he feels about the same only significantly weaker and with the loss of the dodge ability he is easily killed. Whatever threat he was before is gone now. Sad really.

unless they drop all these countdowns to 2 max hes still too chancy across the board to be any good.

Hawkey will be much stronger in PVE especially matched with 3* strike tile generators. His purple works like WR each CD gets advantages of strike tiles. In PVP if you have a really strong buffed character you can also throw him in a 3* team. His issue is if you are a 2* team or you are just making your way to 3* he will take too many hits. I don't know how good he will be on defense as the AI does not match L 5 of a kind, but It does feel like the AI does get a good amount of critical tiles from cascades. He might not scare many people, but if his purple goes off watch out.

    Wolverine X-Force. Destroys 9 tiles in a 5x5 X-shaped pattern.

The power sometimes centers on an edge, so it currently destroys 5 tiles in a 3x5 V pattern, a 4x5 lopsided X pattern, or the result as described.

The 3x5 V pattern shouldn't be possible the way the ability is implemented - if anyone spots it, could they send me a screenshot?. The 4x5 lopsided pattern will be fixed in a future patch.

Is Dark Avengers Daken's blue added to standard token?

    Yep!
  • Changes suck. Not gonna spend money on health packs no matter how much you try and force the player base to do so (and can the **** claims that's not intentional.)

It's impossible to play for a significant period of time now in a competitive manner without expending a huge amount on shields or health packs.

Daken sucks, Mags sucks, nobody is using Hawkeye anyway, X force is out of most players price point and Sentry remains broken.

Puzzle and dragons is a better game and I'm quite happy that MPQ is pushing me away as fast as it does. It's easier to quit a game when it sucks than if it were actually good.

I've only seen the 4x5 lopsided pattern. I just went into the Prologue to play 4 matches with X-Force, and got 5x5 patches every time.
