Edit: just checked again, I'm rank 1 million whoo!

That's not your rank. That's the point total.
    Oh, hah makes sense.

I did fall for the obvious sales ploy, and buy HP for the 10 pack with a guaranteed Punisher in order to play the Punisher-required matches - as expected, 1 Punisher and 9 Wolverine/Cap'un. icon_lol.gif / icon_cry.gif
At least I went in expecting it!

On a serious note though, these heroic tokens are not going to be very rewarding... think I'll keep pouring my ISO into Ragnorak, as unless you already have a stack of Punisher the only other buffed hero who can actually attack is Wolverine - unless I'm seriously underestimating the buffed tile damage of the Cap and Spidey?
  • Whats the best way to play this event without rubber banding kicking my tail? I'm still not really understanding the system.
Well no one knows how similar or different it is to past events. Any advice I give could potentially be wrong. I'm fairly certain that it will likely still be the final few days to determine placements, but that doesn't mean you should wait last minute to do everything.

Cap is decent when buffed. And by that I mean he starts to almost reach parity with unbuffed Thor. Almost.
  • The Punisher mission is indeed a repeatable.

Beautiful - so pay to win is in full effect.

Nevada - 33 points for a clear of everything but the Punisher required mission. 25 points for the Punisher mission itself.
  • And this is where I sigh for the decision I made to sell all my Captain America covers rather than spend HP on a spot for him and Iso on levels for him. I've probably had enough Cap'n covers to max the guy out by now.

At least I have a Punisher cover... well, one Punisher cover (another victim of the rubberbanding, natch- but at least trying to understand why I couldn't keep getting points on the last day led me here!). I have appalling luck with Spideys (only one so far). Hmm. Maybe this is where I concentrate on the non-Hulk events a bit while everyone else is spending all their time on the Hulk. And if rubberbanding is in full effect, sweep in to the Hulk at the end and hope to clean up.

(Like I can resist seeing the Hulk ASAP).

Does this one have a bunch of side missions like The Hunt, or is it all just in the one event?

I didn't pay to get Punisher, got him with no problem in the tournament.

How nice for you. Too bad that doesn't match with a large majority of the playerbase.

New Environment! Desert. At 50, it creates 5 green tiles randomly. At 200, its 5 crit tiles.
  • Man. It's a Bulleye wet dream. Cept, most of them will prolly imeediately blow up. Thats huge damage though, at least. The green ability might be more beneficial though. And less chance of it backfiring on you XP.

It would be nice to know if the event will end early if we hit the goal.

    Highly doubt it.

Does hulk's skills seem underwhelming or is it just me?

    Remember, newer players:

Listen to scrooge. I'm not jumping in this until I place at most top 5 in no holds barred.

They don't sound too great, especially the green in combination with his black.

    Mine said 6, not 5.

I knew I was gonna get those wrong. Its 6 green @50 and 6 crit @200.

How is that pay to win?

Did you jump the gun again, buddy?
  • I jumped the gun. Wasn't thinking while I was checking out the missions and started in. blehhhhh

Look at his health. He almost has more health starting out than c.Hawkeye does at max. I'm assuming the damage will scale immensely, i.e. being able to 1-hit KO Rags.

there is a level 71 Hulk in the Canada mission.

7524 HP, 728 base damage on his green, and 1653 base + 43 per green for his red.

Imagine fighting this guy with a lightning round boost when he's at level 100. 30k HP easily.

Don't forget that are boosted values because in this event he is boosted icon_e_wink.gif

But look at some of those power choices! 5/5/3 Grey Widow? 4/5/4 Classic Mags? ZOMGWTFBBQ! icon_mrgreen.gif

Personally I liked how all the characters had max covers, but topped out at level 35 or so.
Heh. Those were my screens actually. icon_e_smile.gif When I'm debugging stuff I max out abilities and get characters to where they need to be to get their tiles to show up over other characters. Since 4 stars start at 30, having characters in the 30 range is pretty common for me. Doesn't mean I don't go higher when needed, but that's what happens when I poke at things in this case.
