  • Tinykitty half baked update to a half baked feature:
    - takes valuable chat area space
    - doesn't disappear when I can't send anymore heroes 'cause I reached the limit
    - requests stack: if all 20 members send requests, your chat window is tinykittied; was it so hard to assign her own tab for this feature?
    - you can't cancel your request
    - the drawback is tinykitty severe - I lose my hero for a day, while my teammate gets a random (?) team up instead of the whole hero

Well done Demiurge, keep going. You'll end up ruining this game eventually, you just have to be persistent.
Just keep working on features nobody asked for, while ignoring stuff everybody asks for. And no, you're not Steve Jobs, so don't go "people don't know what they want until they experience it" on me.
  • A strange thought, if Hero Points were no obstacle (Screw the rules, I have money!) it would be possible to roster single color heroes who's powers are not really level dependant, to guarentee a positive TU result when sending. 0-5 and 5-0 Lokis. OBWs with only 3 Purple (or 1 Purple?) IM40 with 1 yellow cover. 0-5 Dr. Doom. 0-5-0 Spiderman. 0-5 and 5-0 Venoms. Etc. Would guarantee the TU you wanted to send, and the level doesn't mean jack to select powers. They would also be heroes you have no problem loaning out as they are useless in actual play.

Of course this would cost roster slots, so it's not really ideal, but its a quirky feature of the new Patrol function.

If you have to remove all Sentry powers from the AI TU pool, isn't that just a step short of admitting that Sentry is OP?

Sssh, the nerf bot is browsing the forums.

I just got my 7th Sentry cover. Can you let me get something leveled up before we nerf it? Just once, so I can understand the pain.

Yeah I had to do a double take when I read that in the patch notes. Maybe this was their way of dealing with all the bugs associated with the World Rupture TU.
  • Something needs to be changed on the "patrol" function. I dont understand the reasoning of losing a character for "x" amount of time just for one team up to be used. I completely understand if the character was actually swapped as a functional one for the alliance member, but for one particular team up seems a bit much. There is no reason why I would share a team up just to burn HP to get them back or wait the alloted time period with this current scenario. Very high cost and little benefit for both parties of the allicance.
  • Fine, now we can delete TUs (why can't we sell those for some iso, BTW?), please now add a long-press on a given tu to show exactly its actual effect. Thanks. And keep unused TUs in slot for next matches, that would save a lot of time.
And I couldn't check yet: does protect tiles protect from TUs damage in latest patch?
  • Shield Tiles now property block match damage on TU tiles.

I thought it had to do with his team self-damage being against the spirit of a teamup, but maybe that's just an excuse and they're just listening to all the complaining about sentry teamups everywhere.

I can see how sharing team-ups could be beneficial to my teammates but there is some serious flaws with the new system that I feel the devs did not test. I like the concept but it falls dramatically from what would be considered a useful feature.

    Your "On Patrol" feature:
It's good in theory but vastly flawed. Who thought having a timer for one Team-Up was a good idea? Improvements that should be considered:
-Creating a separate tab for player sent Team Ups. (This is completely mandatory. Seriously.) -On Patrol characters return immediately or granted greatly reduced time to return once the power is used. -Sent characters become reusable Team-Ups during the duration and should send copies of each Team-Up Ability at their level. Include option to send character back to owner for reduced time. (Seriously, if I'm going to lose a character for 4hr - 1.5 days then you make it worth it for me and the receiving player)

Obviously, the ones I'd like to see are points 1 and 3 from that list so please spend the time to actually think about those.

Also, do you see how I put a list within a list? Please start using that when you post your patch notes to be more clear on which update effects what mainly. You dropped the ball in properly communicating this update and it would have been clear if you just put a list inside of the list.

If that was the case, they'd remove Hulk's Smash as well. Damage to a skill's owner doesn't make sense as a team-up because the owner isn't in the team. Damage to the whole allied team works just fine.

I thought, and would have preferred, from the intial forum description, that a "donated" character would be available to everyone in the alliance.
  • Or available for the duration of their patrol at least. Wouldn't that be nice. Alas, non.

I like this idea. Everyone in your alliance gets to use it once. That way it really sounds like "being on patrol" and justifies the day that they spend away from you.
  • Is it just me or is the teamups patrol time screwed up for you? my Tim have changed throughout the day. Some increased in time and some decreased.

Can you send out a Team-up of an injured/downed character? Like if I have a match and my Steve Rogers gets downed, could I send him away "on patrol" and when he returns he'll be fully healthy because his patrol lasted longer than his recovery.
  • Probably. Steve Roger's patrol time is like 24 hours tho, so I'm not sure how useful that is.
  • Two points to make it halfway usable:
    - i want to decline unwanted tu after a victory (**** tu filling my space)
    - i want that equipped tus are remembered like boosts (takes too much time to equip before each fight)

yes. Especially on older Android devices it takes significant time to load the graphics etc, which can cost you last minute fight in PvP.
