I believe env tiles were introduced in later nodes, so (without having run through the levels) I would think there is a later node to teach how to use TUs? I haven't checked this, though...0 -
Which prologue did you use? The earliest ones have limited options as they are a defacto tutorial. The node I use in Dark Avengers Prologue still allows TUs.0

It was the first ones. Just trying to get a quick peek at the teamup before I decided whether to delete it. The Dark Avenger chapter has teamups.

As much as i hate to admit this, what you are saying is totally true. The irony is that often the hardcore players are the most negative of them all.
I'd say the best thing is just "adapt with whatever devs throw at you". Just ignore TUs completeley and continue to enjoy the game.0 -

Let's see send your character off for a short time (16-24 hours) 1/3 of a pvp event. Doesn't seem like a short time to me. Is that a plus for you? Seems kind of sh*tty to me. sh*tty = nerf
How about ...needs your heroes' help! taking up half the screen in chat. It reminds me of toolbars in web browsers in a dirty PC. (Maybe it's not a nerf if your use to having half your screen taken up by toolbars.)
But you can pay to get it back immediately. How much is it 300 HP? Seems way over priced to me. With less hp you can compete in pvp, use boost and shield hop and get more team ups with ranking higher, getting more teamups with you deleting the ones you don't want and you don't lose the ability to using one of your characters on your roster.

An idea that could make D3 tons of money
Now you on the other hand having one of the lowest rating on a post if not the lowest is pretty tinykitty funny.
Is it a mandatory feature that must be done to play PVP, or can you ignore it entirely and still use team ups?
I'm not saying that it's a good feature, but I'm assuming you don't play a lot of video games with how liberally you use the word Nerf. You're using it wrong.
A Nerf to TU would be adding 10 seconds of animation to the beginning of a match for showing which team ups you and the computer are using.0 -

Actually, I wouldn't mind something along those lines. Not 10 seconds worth of course. Maybe have a single pop up that shows all the boosts and team ups equipped by both sides. We currently already have to sit through up to three animations telling us which boosts we had just selected moments ago, so it would be an improvement if that got cut down to one animation. And if it reveals the enemy team up at the same time, that at least reduces the surprise factor when you get hit by a Wind Storm team up or whatever.0 -
Is there anywhere besides in the battle where I can look and see what my teamup actually does? Some of the new characters (she-hulk, cpt marvel) I don't remember off the top of my head what exactly their powers do at each level, so I just have to bring my level 2 hypersonic punch knowing that it'll do a little damage and stun the enemy for a turn (or 2?). I'm sure there are other powers like this (OBW AR comes to mind, but most people have used OBW so much they know what each cover level does/costs) so it'd be nice to be able to click on them and see what they do, but the only place you can see them (and click on them) is when you're choosing them, so there's no info as far as i can tell. Am I just missing something?0

this games user interface during fights needs a crazy amount of improvement. Not only is there a ton of empty space (yet we have to scroll to the side to see how much AP each team has), but there is a plus sign shaped health meter that does absolutely nothing to convey any information that can't be taken from a single bar.
the heads for the fighters are freaking huge for absolutely no reason, especially when you only need to tap the front of the first one to switch. all we need is something like in Street Fighter 2, where there is a square with the person's face in it and a name underneath.
then maybe they can actually fit the AP totals somewhere on the screen so people stop **** about how the computer is cheating by using magnetic translocation with three purple.
They're wrong, by the way.

When viewing some one else roster, their character ability stats now show the base number.
For example A LazyThor show 783 damage with 5 cover in thunder strike even though he is max out at 166.
Is this a bug or a stealth change and is now working as intended?0 -

Simonsez, you are absolutely correct about it. I agree with you. However, it doesn't mean that you have to be upset all the time and forget about all the good things, why you passionate about this game in the first place?
I have many many things that i upset about this game. From the silliest thing like
"how the character that i have been waiting for since 4 October, Captain Marvel, happens to be a low-tier of 3*",
"How scaling almost drove me to rage quit"
"how my rag was nerfed soon after i spend hp on him and many more"
"how i must do tanking"
"how TU is cumbersome" and so on.
but i've chosen to (again) adapt with it, shrug it off, and continue to play, pushing along side with our team in A-Force.
And by the way, MPQ has been doing better than ever in terms of revenue. I saw MPQ in top 50 grossing just yesterday, and its daily revenue has jumped to 25k from 15k (according to thinkgaming.com).

Hey everyone. My first post here, so bare with me. I'm looking for help.
I updated to the new patch yesterday afternoon, and I'm so happy with the TU changes. I haven't had any problems, however, my friend has. He just updated to the new patch yesterday during work as well. But, after the update, when he opened the game, his account/profile was gone. He was sent back to the start of the game and lost all of his covers, HP, and Iso-8.
He noticed that his Facebook account showed disconnected through the options menu. When he selected it to reconnect, an error popped up saying that his account was already connected, when it obviously wasn't on his phone. He tried resetting his phone and wi-fi connection, but nothing helped. He's been playing for a while now and had some really good covers and updates, so it sucks that this happened.
Has this happend to anyone else, or is this an isolated incident? Anyone have any ideas/tips?0 -

Well i left the alliance and I can tell you I no longer have access to Sentry Patch and daredevil. Hope fisben enjoys em. we'll see if I get them back.
Yea, I can confirm they are still in my TU list (Sentry/Patch/DD). So leaving an alliance after you send out TU's doesn't seem to give you any benefit of trying to get around the system. Though this whole TU thing is so jacked up, I don't think at the end of the day it matters, but just an FYI0 -
