  • Does anyone know if you use fake healing if world rupture-up works as normal? The most common thing I've seen is one tile explosion, though I have seen outright cancellation with downing of characters.

    Had a good one earlier - the Hulk/Yelena/Venom node had World Rupture and two Supernovas. I somehow managed to limit them to just firing off the WR so it did sod all damage.

    Oooh, nice. Mine were either 2 or 3 turns apart so that's just fine. Fine I say, just fine.

    his TU's are a **** when they are max lvl
  • In the Yelena-2 sniper node, the snipers gather 2 green each per turn despite needing 0 to fire. Guess who had an Onslaught. Never seen a 30 green onslaught before, did over 6000 damage to a 9000 health Hulk

    In the last week I've had the enemy team use world rupture team boost 1 - 2 times a match on me 1 - 2 times a day...on average.
  • That doesn't seem right to me though, because before today I've found that when hit with a world rupture or other countdown TU, if I kill the character that was in front when the AI used the TU, the countdown tiles have gone with them as if they were their own.

    edit: I don't think I was using aoe when it happened, because just the one character would go down, but now you have me unsure and wondering. I'll have to keep an eye on that...
    Sometimes killing the member that "used" the power erases the tiles, sometimes not. I once stunned the lead character and slowed the tiles, but only once. Sometimes a weak AoE that kills nobody will erase the tiles.

    Its extremely random, which is frustrating, because there is a world rupture every damn fight it seems, and its never clear the best option to avoid it.

    I've been hit twice in the same match on more then one occasion now. This is getting boring. Also, why would a team of goons have a Team-UP. It makes no sense that a lvl 35 assault team would have a Sentry team up. It just feels like a way to damage us so we use more health packs. But then again what doesn't nowadays?
  • Took Hood (lv118), OBW and Patch into a Goon + Moonstone matchup for lockdown purposes... got Supernova'd halfway through, completely killing Hood and OBW.

    Strategy goes out the window with that kind of stuff, might as well just bring the highest health character and ride out the Supernova's / World Ruptures. Bring on the anti-Sentry TU patch.

    Yeah, I caught one of those too... unfortunately it was my Patch that was up front at the time.

    well, maybe they fixed something from behind the scene without a patch becuase I get WR less now...oh, wait, now I get supernova more often. average 5 times a day or so? Thanks guys
  • I assume they adjusted Super Nova to go off more, as their data showed some people were actually having fun despite the terror that is Team Ups.
  • Having endured the grindfest (still, better than fecking super-rubberbanding) that was the Hulk PvE I was amused (?) to see that either WR or Supernova was used in 14 consecutive 'essential' nodes that I faced in this event. It was less a case of whether it would be used, and more just a case of when.

    The absolute worst occassions are those times where it's a close match, but you've just got the edge and can see the win in sight... then SUPERNOVA... all dead.

    Or almost as aggravating - you get the final enemy down to the point where one more match will kill them and they drop a Supernova or Windstorm on you. Just so you can go on to the next node a bit more mangled than you might have been.

    That just hurts especially with true healing. I have gotten it quite a few times in the last PvE. Also, I have been hit with WR on a turn and Supernova the next (or the next couple) of turns. That's just... arghhhhh. icon_evil.gif
