    Just curious, what do you "see" that I don't that tells you they weren't working to fix it during that time? Were you somehow magically able to watch the techs work? Were you somehow able to magically see the error logs and server dump files and know that it was an easy fix and they were just having a laugh at our expense? Were you somehow able to magically see that IceX was awake at midnight on a Sunday and not at home X minutes away from work, but at the office pranking his customers?

    Then shut up and quit being such a ****. This was a huge leap compared to the heavy metal crash, and you are still acting like a petulant child.
    I make no excuse or attempt to hide my disgust for anyone who claims the world is ending at the drop of a hat. I work in customer service and people like that are a waste of an account.

    Expressing frustration via sarcasm is hardly "being such a ****". I'd say your last 2 sentences were even more rude than the post you commented on.

    Ok, so it's down again for others. I thought i was going crazy and thinking that my phone and my SIM card were going haywire again!!! I feel oddly better about it. Hahaha

    P.S. I think people are pretty harsh on the DEVS. We all have our moments of pure hatred but we're still here. I'm pretty sure that means that this game is still great and you like it. It's getting better too. So thanks for listening to us. It's nice to be heard, even when we want to curse the tiny kitty out of you! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    It was 9 p.m. here when it crashed, which is my prime playing time after I get home from work and wind down for the night. I was looking forward to doing some PvP with my newly upgraded Hood tonight, guess that will have to wait.

    On one hand, it's an internet services company, so they should have some monitoring that alarms when things break. That shouldn't be lmited to 'OS dead'. but also application ports not responding. These things should trigger alarms that alert people by SMS or equivalent.

    On the other hand it is stil only a game so people should ignore the SMS because sleep is nice.

    I was grinding VERY SLOWLY towards the New Cap cover in the Simulator. Now what am I supposed to do? NOW WHAT, I SAY? icon_question.gif

    But seriously, if it took until mid-morning local time (for them) to fix the last problem, when there were events closing and rewards on the line, expect this to take as long if not longer.

    Guys, it's just a GAME. Something meant to pass the time, shoot the breeze. If it's down, you just move on to doing something in real life. .. unless you don't have a life.

    were able to get the servers live again and did some research so we can prevent the same issue from happening again in the future. - From Lake.

    I hope all these issues are not indication that the devs are just going to take their large piles of money and pull the plug.. I doubt I'd be the only user upset at such an event.
