Hi Everyone -

We are currently looking into the Comm Link Disrupted message many of the players are seeing right now when they launch Marvel Puzzle Quest. We will provide an update here on the forums once we have more news to share and we get everyone back into the game. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Thank you for taking 1h 20 to react. I guess you just went "what the hell, let's not fix the servers now, they'll fail anyways once the pvp event ends, so we're better just sit on our **** until then".

(later edit) Downvoting me and sucking it up to the devs will only send them the message that they're right NOT fixing things. Keeping a positive attitude is just papering cracks in the wall, but if that's what you want, by all means, keep doing it. I'd rather say things the way I see them.

pretty please tell me I got my Deadpool and Hood cover...
  • I hope it gets fixed soon.

And I hope we rewarded somehow, some we have lost the final of Thor Tournament.
  • Lakestone, any chance of getting an ETA of when the servers might be up and running again?

Like an hour from now, 6 hours from now, 12 hours form now?

They needed 1h 20 min for a 30 seconds "we're working on it" message. Feel free to extrapolate.

It's four in the **** morning.

if you really feel like **** that much, I can 1v1 you in Puzzle Quest 1. That'll shut you up quick.

It's midday where I am. And it was midnight in the US when the servers crashed, and a global, 24h/day online game should have a global, 24h/day support team. Keep looking for excuses, you'll find them icon_e_smile.gif

there are two baseless assumptions in this post:

    1. the devs knew the servers went down exactly at midnight. For all you know, someone got out of bed to start working on this.

    2. the devs didn't actually do anything until after they made the forum post, which is actually the strangest claim it because that assumes that they think the forum has priority over fixing the **** game.

there's no problem with criticism, but make sure you're actually right. You have no idea what's going on.

    1v1 me.

I'll give you the first three turns free. I'll make incorrect matches.

    1. the devs knew the servers went down exactly at midnight. For all you know, someone got out of bed to start working on this. if I try to do anything immediately after waking up, I pretty much break afthe tinykitty in the room

    2. the devs didn't actually do anything until after they made the forum post, which is actually the strangest claim it because that assumes that they think the forum has priority over fixing the tinykitty game.

    1. The devs have prior experience withe server crashes. When did they all happen? Right, at the end of the events / soon after the events ended. This means there's a structural issue with the game and something they should have been observing actively, not go home at 17 then break a temper when waked up at midnight to paint over the rust.

    2. Posting a message on the forums takes a minute. Fixing the game takes way longer, so, yes, appeasing us by posting a timely message should've been utmost priority, given the minimal effort involved.

Thanks for highlighting that. That happens to be when a number of D3/Demiurge customers are up using their service too. Not by choice, mind you.

Which co-incidentally is when most of Europe need to be awake to play MPQ if they want anything inside a top 100 ranking in PvE.

Clearly D3/Demiurge consider 4am in the morning to be a perfectly acceptable time to be active icon_e_wink.gif

(yeah, I'm not going to let it drop)

FYI, while it maybe 4am for you, its only 4pm for me... so i was merely curious to know how long it might take to fix as opposed to asking them for a time, since i have no idea where their severs or staff are located... But thanks for letting me know its 4am over where you're at icon_rolleyes.gif
  • Well it's 11.30 am and it's still noT fixed. Getting a bit pissed off tbh I am at work 13.00-21.00 that's a full day gone and I am not staying up till 5am to do the pvp because you hate Europe for so,e reason and screw us over with the time frame. Very frustrated and getting angry with you lot. Very sloppy work from the whole team. The true healing pushed me to the edge and this is making me start to move over it. Your customer service is as good and useful as EA. That's sarcastic btw I know how slow you guys are. Sort it out or I am sure I can get some Americans to take you to court for failing to supply the product as you said you will just like EA has been over battlefield.
  • Thanks for the post. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one.
