    You know, considering that everything seemed to be working fine right up until the event ended, I'm willing to bet that anyone who got a connection error after their last Deadpool fight were probably a few seconds short of winning the fight in time. I think someone else mentioned that it was likely the additional strain of the event ending that crashed the server, and I remember server crashes happening when multiple events ended before.

    Edit: Cut by JCT, who said what I'm saying regarding Deadpool.

    Edit 2: Well, apparently the servers did go down for at least some people a minute or so before the servers imploded, so hush my mouth I suppose.

    The servers crashed as soon as the event ended. Which means those points would not have counted anyway. If the servers crashed before you finished, then you would not have finished in time. I was ranked 7th in my bracket with less than 1 minute to go. I knew I could never finish a match in under 60 seconds, so i just waited for it to end.

    So, unless there are different servers that crashed at different times, then they went down immediately after the Deadpool event ended. All those people that are complaining that they got cut off in the middle of their last match are just wasting their breath. Even if they had been able to finish, it would not have counted since it would have finished AFTER the event ended. Which means it would not have counted anyway.

    Now as to the Thor PvP, the last hour was unplayable, so I myself feel kinda screwed in that one.

    Not true at all. I've had plenty of events end while I was in a battle, and the points earned were credited. I'm sure there are many others that this has happened to as well.

    EDIT: IceIX just showed up in the "Online" list. Maybe we'll get an update of what's happening.

    I was at 413 I would have got first if the servers didn't go down when it ended. im so pissed i spent 3000hp on shields to get my deadpool covers. now all ill get is a hollow feeling inside and ignored by customer service.

    We'll be lucky getting Grey Hood. I can't imagine Blue.

    Also can't see them sending out Deadpool covers (though it would be nice) as essentially the ending of the event coindicided with the servers going down. If they were wanting to give them out, they would have given a Red? as a cover at the end of the tournament.

    Considering he said he was 413 I think it was a sarcastic post relating to the fact that everyone seems to claim they were one victory away from bumping up in the event like everyone and their mother wasn't playing at the exact same time.

    I just put in $70 on this game a couple of days ago and understand that servers go down. Perfect time to get some sleep in, play the huge backlog of games I've amassed over the last year, or watch a movie. Hell, I barely made the last hour of the first sub of Deadpool because I went to the 9pm EST showing of Guardians Of The Galaxy.

    i was 10th in lard of thunder and everyone was in deadpool pve so i hoping i stayed in 10 since it ended while server was down. those extra hp can help with cover slot for deadpool

    On top of the deadpool cover people requested, I'd like my Hood blue cover as well. Planning to shield hoop the last 30 minutes. Was sitting at #6 before the hamster gave up running. icon_rolleyes.gif

    It was a joke. I just hope I don't lose my spot in pvp my shield went down literally one hr before the event ended.so when the server went down. hopefully no one hit me. i was at 1100 i think. i just want to see where i ended in pve i know im top 5 i timed my refresh perfect. so i grinded down in the last 30 min. i had two min left and i was 3rd in the sub. then when my last match ended my screen went black and i got the check internet connect. but im not stessing at least ice and lack stones came on to assure us. That is worthy of a gold star.

    Whether or not it was once true, they made clear some time ago that if you finish after the end of the event the points are NOT actually counted in the standings (PvP and PvE both) although you will still get whatever prize for beating the node or winning the PvP match. Back when they used to have 100 iso for the first clear of a node, finishing a node after the cut-off time used to result in a "first clear" prize for that node even if you'd beaten it before which reinforced that it was effectively acting like you'd just scored in a whole new event and the one you had been playing in was over.
