The opposite side of that is that despite this, Daken is heavily underutilized by both 2* and 3* level players. So if you nerf him further and he's already underused, who does that really help? Hence, it's back on the board for consideration.

I don't mean to side track this thread so I'll be quite after this post, but I was a little confused at some of the abilities listed in the patch notes because there were some key typos in the notes, I didn't realize that 2 star daken would potentially be less viable after the changes, I'm gonna go reread those patch notes now. Sorry was a little confused

I dunno about other 2* players, but for me, I don't play him because he doesn't have the levels. If he did, even with the strike tile number nerf, I'd use him like a mofo. In fact, his "nerf" makes him a better pair for AWolvie, since by the time you get enough for Wolvies green, Daken has shitted up most of the red tiles with **** level strike tiles, limiting the effectiveness of Wolverine. I think the "nerf" for 2* Daken creates a much better synergy.

Yeah after rereading the patch notes it still seems to me like daken was actually getting a buff.

Ice, please put the Daken's back out into play or at least fast track. I know it's likely close to how you want them

I mean... you have current Daken and coming soon Daken. How different are you going to make him again? People like him because his is relatively overpowered, as you have said. If you aiming to get rid of things like the % increase anyway (as you have been working your way through all the % characters), then your other options are limited.

I can see how people who use him often won't be thrilled. If you are worried about the nerf effects, offer the generous ISO and HP refund period if the person wants to sell.

I think you would find the use of 2* Daken massively increases. I'll use him often.

IceIX already reveal all 3 of deadpool power and what it does, and his best skill is his passive black where he man up, take the damage and regenerate it.

Thanks for this Nonce. I personally believe that all team ups should have the same base cost and vary on the character level. For example:

T-Us of characters under level 50: 5 AP
T-Us of characters between levels 50 and 100: 9 AP
T-Us of characters of characters between levels 100 and 130: 10 AP
T-Us of characters of characters between levels 130 and 166: 12 AP
T-Us of characters of characters above level 166: 14 AP

That makes some powers better or worse than in normal gameplay, but I think that's fine, as challenges people to think different about abilities.

What on earth is the rationale for that? Powers have different AP costs because they have different levels of effectiveness. Do you seriously think Modern-BW and Modern-Storm using their powers at 5 AP won't completely dominate the game?

Are you playing the same game as the rest of us?
I think 85% of the players going to 1000+ each PVP are running UDaken, and about 95% of the ones going to 1100+.
And 100% of the X-Men

I'm sure compared to the general player base, Daken is underutilized, but in high level PVP he's definitely T5.

Also, his apparent underutilization might have something to do with his covers being somewhat hard to get

I see Daken in most of the upper level teams I'm facing.

He's a great team player. He covers odd colors, and he puts strike tiles on the board. His Regen lets him tank a lot. Is there no good move? Then let Daken move. He works well with most other characters, especially Falcon Sentry Mags. If something bad is coming up, he's expendable.

Facing him, he'll usually get rid of his strike tiles for you. I like fighting him. I also like fighting Captain America, Black Panther, and Punisher. Non-tricky but dangerous dudes that will mess me up if I don't play carefully.

Once 2* Daken is "nerfed", I will have another usable team with Daken-Torch. At the same level, Daken takes damage on Black and Green, creates strike tiles that Flame Jet and Inferno double dip on.

I think that will bump Storm-Magneto to my C team.

Here's what I'm seeing in PvE:
The opponents consistently have Sentry powers, the best powers in the game.
The opponents consistently give me 1* powers, the worst and most overpriced powers in the game.
It's a huge effort to get rid of the powers priced 15 to 19. You're not even told the AP cost on the power, you have to go look it up.

Here's a good chunk of my Team Up powers now.

16 - Black Widow (Modern) 5 - Aggressive Recon
16 - Bullseye 4 5 - Murderous Aim
