  • It sounds like the TU's would be coming from what ever group you defeated.

    I have a feeling for a while we may endup seeing only TU's for Patch, Mags, Sentry, and Daken.

    With a sprinkling of Punisher, Hulk, Hood and Iron Man 40.

    Is this your typical PvE leaderboard stuff or a new format where everyone who completes it can obtain Deadpool?

    I really hope the way they're talking about a "special episode" that it truly is a pve - no leaderboards, no nasty scaling (cause if competition for Deadpool is even half as bad as I expect it to be, scaling will break records).

    Just set some benchmarks for people to hit: finish with x points, here's 1 cover. Finish with y points, here's 2 covers. Finish with z points, congrats you get all 3 covers. Simple, true pve.

    TEAM UP SOUNDS INTERESTING BUT IF ENVIRONMENTAL TILES ARE LEAVING THEN BP AND STORM NEED TO HAVE THEIR EV BASED POWERS CHANGED

    I have noooo idea what you guys were going for, but you can't tell people you have monthly updates when the game is on auto pilot 80% of the time

    People are going to expect something NEW every month. Not a few extra characters that they can't field unless they pay you since new players won't have a self-sustaining hero points flow yet, which are needed to see certain story related nodes.

    Haha thanks man. I try to avoid the patch notes threads because they're essentially 2 people discussing the changes while 20 people projectile vomit venom

    It's a Flash PVE Event. Short duration but with a juicy Iso-8 prize at one point and a possible Hero Point prize at another. Still standard format of progression though.

    Finally creating a character the playerbase has been asking for instead of random c-listers and pointless clones!

    All very positive things, although frankly I'd trade all of it for some comments about the deliberate process of making this game as unappealing to veterans as possible

    - Team-Ups are single use abilities that can be brought into battle that allow users to use abilities from characters that aren't directly on their teams
    - Most abilities are available to drop as Team-Ups for usage
    - Team-Up abilities have a chance to drop when defeating non-minion characters
    - New Team-Up tile art has been implemented
    - Team-Up tiles replace Environment tiles on all boards that use Environment tiles
    - Enemies can select and use Team-Ups

    True Meaning: Most of the useful abilities will NOT be available as drops from non-minion characters but cash shop. And they will be sold just like covers. Useful abilities will inherit like 0.1% drop rate from single Team-up tile sale as oppose to useless ones (Yes, Yelena. It's you again.) that will inherit like 20%. icon_cool.gif

    Poor 1* and 3* storm got hit by the almighty nerf bat this time around, while BP got a fix. Luckily none of my 1* or 3* storm are max. icon_cool.gif

    Ice already said that TUs won't be purchasable but will perhaps be shared among alliances (not yet, but very probable).

    From the thread it sounded like you can get a drop from whomever you defete. So if you Defete Patch, Magneto, Ldaken you can get a drop from those 3 characters. If you defete 2* teams you get those drops. So if you are takeing on bigger oppoenents and increasing your MMR you will get bigger and better Team ups.
    Also I think it is interesting that Defense will have 3 Team ups available per match that will be based on the level's of the team. So if you have three 166 3* characters they will have 3 additional 166 level team ups. I can see a lot more defensive wins since defense tends to match more ENV tiles now.

  • Anyone else notice Team Up AP still suffers reduction from combos like environmental AP use to? If it's the third match or later a match 3 only produces 2 AP. Seems a bit silly now that they are basically normal tiles, yea?
