In advance of the premier of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, we've gone and gave Ms. Walters a bit of an in-game ability makeover, available NOW! This is a pure ability upgrade, and lets just get into it!

Health/Match Damage
No change

Old
Settlement - 9 Blue AP
She-Hulk flexes her legal muscle, striking a deal to balance the scales of justice. Randomly selects up to 2 enemy Protect, Strike, or Attack tiles and redistributes them between both teams. Friendly redistributed tiles are improved by 28. (Max level Empowers 87)
  • Level 2: Friendly tiles are improved by 34. (Max level Empowers 104)
  • Level 3: Friendly tiles are improved by 39. (Max level Empowers 122)
  • Level 4: Selects up to 3 tiles (Odd tiles are always friendly)
  • Level 5: Friendly tiles are improved by 62. (Max level Empowers 191)
New
Settlement - 9 Blue AP
She-Hulk flexes her legal muscle, striking a deal to balance the scales of justice. Randomly selects up to 3 enemy Protect, Strike, or Attack tiles and redistributes them between both teams (Odd tiles are always friendly). Empowers redistributed tiles by 33. (Max level Empowers 104)
  • Level 2: Friendly tiles are improved by 40. (Max level Empowers 125)
  • Level 3: Selects up to 5 tiles.
  • Level 4: Friendly tiles are improved by 46. (Max level Empowers 146)
  • Level 5: Redistributes all tiles. Empowers friendly tiles by 73. (Max level Empowers 229)
When She-Hulk came around, stealing enemy tiles was something pretty rare. But then, so were enemy SAP tiles to begin with. In today's meta, SAP tiles are more numerous, but this ability didn't keep pace at all into 4-Star land. This made it so that the ability wasn't useful when Jen got max champed versus an equivalent use of Hair Meddle from Medusa. Medusa would swap up to half the board and steal ALL the tiles, with tile empowerment as well. This change brings Ms. Walters into the same arena, potentially stealing even more tiles than Medusa AND empowering them more strongly, but not causing the cascades and attendant damage/AP gain that the Inhuman Queen brings to the table.

Furious Charge - 6 Green AP
No change

While a bit niche, this ability is still pretty powerful when used by players, and can be strong when used by the AI as well. As such, didn't see a need for improvement here.

Old
Power of Attorney - 9 Red AP
She-Hulk strikes the ground, causing the earth to shift under her enemies' feet. Destroys 10 tiles from the bottom of the board and deals 195 damage to the enemy team. Destroyed tiles don't deal damage or generate AP. (Max level 609 damage)
  • Level 2: Deals 283 damage. (Max level 883 damage)
  • Level 3: Causes a bigger shock-wave, destroying 13 tiles.
  • Level 4: Deals 404 damage. (Max level 1261 damage)
  • Level 5: Destroys 16 tiles and deals 527 damage. (Max level 1644 damage)
New
Power of Attorney - 9 Red AP
She-Hulk strikes the ground, causing the earth to shift under her enemies' feet. Destroys 10 tiles from the bottom of the board and deals 223 damage to the enemy team. Destroyed tiles don't deal damage or generate AP. (Max level 695 damage)
  • Level 2: Deals 323 damage. (Max level 1008 damage)
  • Level 3: Causes a bigger shock-wave, destroying 13 tiles.
  • Level 4: Deals 462 damage. (Max level 1439 damage)
  • Level 5: Destroys 16 tiles and deals 602 damage. (Max level 1877 damage)
While the ability itself is pretty interesting, doing something along with team damage that isn't really replicated by any other character, the damage itself was pretty anemic compared to other available AoE abilities. So it received a modest upgrade, getting about 15% increased damage while retaining its cascade capability from the board shake.

We hope you enjoy the new and improved Jen Walters. Take her new upgraded power set out for a spin today!

Unexpected but welcomed.  Always nice to see some new blood pumped into an older character.

I had her configured at 4/5/4. With this update, I changed it to 5/5/3.

Yeah I never really paid attention at what she hulk did other than furious charge messing me up, but also nice to see anyone updated.

I can always get behind updating older characters, but unless the 3-star phase is going to be meaningfully lengthened for new players, I feel like it might not be the most crucial use of work hours?
*cough* Update could have come with becoming a feeder *cough*

Hm, but why compare a 3* to a 4*, and then even to an A-Tier character of the 4-star category?! 🤓

(SCNR, I feel like an attorney already)

She's already a feeder for Gwenpool. Or did you mean to give her a secondary feed?

Theoretically, it should feel like a stepping stone, where arguably before there was a much larger gap between the two. This kind of buff is good because it makes the transition from the 3* to 4* tier more natural, rather than being a significant leap because the 4* meta is so far ahead of the past 3*s. It also means a late 3* player will be more in line with an early 4* player in power level. She-Hulk is no Medusa, but now a 3* player could more reliably sub in She-Hulk when they don't have Medusa.

Of course, most of what I said will only hold true if they keep up with these types of little buffs over time, otherwise it would be too easy to write off in the greater meta with hundreds of characters, you know?

At the very least her Blue now will make a nice TU power.

I don’t know who this is, but I feel like it could be a 4* to celebrate Spidey’s 60th like Chasm is the 5*.  Don’t they usually try to do a 4* and a 5* for each tie in?

It's an update to she hulk, a character already in the game.

But there are multiple new character threads so I understand the confusion.

Have to try this out. Always felt she hulk was underpowered compared to hulk. This seems interesting. Keep up the good work

Haha. Thanks. Yes this was meant as a reply in the new 4* thread.

Ok, I guess. I'll still pretty much only use her when she's required. And in PvP, she's a one-power AP destroyer anyway.

Out of all the characters, they did a minor tweak to 3* She-Hulk. Interesting.

True. But just a simple 15% damage increase? Will that bring show fans into the game? Will 3* get much more use because of this upgrade?

Might wanna try reading the parent post again if your takeaway was "just a simple 15% damage increase".
