Rewards in Enemy of the State

Did anyone see the rewards being handed out (level 9 in particular). Is this like a 10 day event??

Enemy of the State, Prodigal Sun, The Hulk (maybe I'm missing one...) are all 7 day events. They don't run them often anymore....1

I don't know if it has been that long that I do not remember, but those amounts seems a little high (not that i am complaining <.<)0
-
Compared to one 3 day and one 4 day event? They are not that high.1
-
The rewards are 'doubled' for seven day events. Last one was in the Hulk in March1

Yeah, I usually do t5 or t10 so in a 7 day event I would be losing out on some 4* placement covers. The upside though is that EotS is my favorite event so there's that.St_Bernadus said:Compared to one 3 day and one 4 day event? They are not that high.1 -
and Iso-8 Brotherhood, the least interesting of the 7-day events.Waddles_Pines said:Enemy of the State, Prodigal Sun, The Hulk (maybe I'm missing one...) are all 7 day events. They don't run them often anymore....0 -
The last time Iso-8 Brotherhood was run was 9/14/2017. Back then, there were no 5* essentials. So I guess you are safe from that event for theforseeable future

Does someone knows the enemies and the frequency of them in the "Enemy of the state" event ? I'll pick my clearance level based on that.0

Ninjas! So many ninjas. And Gorgon. And brainwashed 2* Wolverine.Kletvar said:Does someone knows the enemies and the frequency of them in the "Enemy of the state" event ? I'll pick my clearance level based on that.
Mostly it’s full of Ninjas and some other goon types. Lots of attack tiles too.1 -
Ninjas. Lots and lots of ninjas. If you don't like Caltrops and/or Turn to Smoke, you might want to knock your SCL down a notch.Kletvar said:Does someone knows the enemies and the frequency of them in the "Enemy of the state" event ? I'll pick my clearance level based on that.
Also, even though 2-star Wolverine is "powered up" you won't be able to use him for the first few days. I'm pretty sure that all the Wolverine characters (2-star up through 5-star) are locked out until about halfway through the event.

So, it's mostly casters, not match makers. Greatsambrookjm said:

Many thanks to both of you

Quake is very handy too if you have her for stopping caltrop damage.Kletvar said:bluewolf said:

I haven't tried it but assume Nightcrawler would teleport away from Caltrop damage too.0

Beyond the previously-given advice here:
1) Be careful of the Kishu's black power if you rely on special tiles because it steals two of your's and converts them to enemy strikes.
2) Quake is doubly useful against Kishu because not only does her yellow trivialize their Caltrops, but her blue can negate both the countdowns and shields on their purple tiles. She doesn't do much against the others.
3) Kraven is quite useful if both Kishu & Teisatsu are around, but utterly useless otherwise.
4) Be wary of using Peggy to clear Teisatsu's, as her blue stun stops before the countdown damage is applied, so their Turn to Smoke will still trigger even if they were previously stunned (I only mention this because she's boosted).
5) Except for Kishu's, all Hand abilities are either fall on red or black tiles, so characters that create those colored tiles (Magik, 3* Cyclops, Cloak & Dagger, Domino, 2* Magneto, etc) are deceptively good against goon-only nodes. On the flip-side of this, traps on those two colors are especially vulnerable, which is why 4* Elektra isn't as good this event even though it was the one created to celebrate her release (if her red power's trap falls on a purple tile, she can be amazing, even in this event, as she'll always have AP to steal)
6) If you're at a lower tier and don't have Quake, 1*/3* Storm's black ability at five covers is also a solid way to negate Kishu's Caltrops by overwriting the traps.
7) For the first four days of this event, a few of the wave nodes have Wolverine in the later waves and/or as a later character in a single wave. With all the red-feeding ninjas around it's easy to eat an Adamantium Slash if you aren't careful in your wave nodes
8) If your roster lacks the ability to brute force things and/or you're lacking a lot of the 3*/4*/5* characters regularly suggested on the forum, look at characters that maximize board control. 2* Captain America was my all-star this event until I got a better roster, even though he's a really lackluster character otherwise (2* Cap/1* Storm/OBW was one of the better teams I found for this event prior to becoming more of a 3* player).
There's probably a lot more, but that's all I got off the top of my head

Ah yes, EotS. One of my favorite PVE events, lots of wave nodes for extra tokens, a good story, and pretty easy all things considered. Plus no Dark Avengers or sniper/muscle/don nodes. And, years ago Quake's passive was broke and she reduced all enemy power damage to 1 during an EotS event, and that was a lot of fun.0

only 1 cover of her (champ reward from SWitch) . I'm beginning the 3* → 4* transition. Thanks for the Quake tip, gonna have that in mind for the futuretiomono said:

Will there be more nodes in the upcoming parts of this story since I feel like I won’t be able to reach Vulture at this rate.0
-
How long will the node in opening sub be there? Whole event? 2 days?
I cant remember0 -
The opening wave loaner node is there for the first sub (48 hours). Then a series of one time nodes appear to open the remaining subs. EotS is one that doesn't make you run the loaner team every day.Greenroom said:How long will the node in opening sub be there? Whole event? 2 days?
