New release with the most hated and unuseful 5 stars as essential
Shield training with one of the latest 4 stars required at lev 209 (I have barely got there but I doubt the majority of players had too)
This is defenitely not fun

Doc Ock being the essential 5* is unfortunate, but nothing more than an unlucky coincidence of the 5* essential rotation matching up with a new release event. It's bound to happen every once and awhile, and there's nothing particularly nefarious about it.WEBGAS said:Trick or treats?

Requiring Dazzler at 209 for S.H.I.E.L.D Training is a different story though. That *is* something that can and should change. In fact, it did use to be different (and better for more players). Mine is fully covered (not champed) and already at 209, but I know I'm in the minority for that.
Keep pushing for change, but in the meantime I would recommend setting each new 4* as your sole BH when they release and keeping it that way until you get 10 covers for them (or 9 covers if you have some variation of a 5/4/0 build). Hopefully that will be enough to get them to 209 before they're featured.2 -
I have FIVE 4* characters that I don't have the covers needed to get them up to level 209 in the event of SHIELD Training.
So of course Dazzler is one of them.

Kinda bummed about 5* Oc being the required for the release event. My least covered 5* after Cable (2 covers, the first time I've ever been upset about that lol). Oh well SCL 8 it is I guess.0

Yeah that will be my strategy very soon. My main priority is to get Shuri to 280 for the Okoye cover, then focus on getting Jubilee to ten covers since she is currently my only non-limited 4* under ten and then just focus on each new 4* as they come out. That's essentially what I did with Dazzler anyway. Loved her build so I got as many covers for her as I could on her release, then I hoarded all of my legendaries and cp and as soon as she went into tokens I just unloaded everything and easily got her covered and then champed her.DarthDeVo said:

Doc Ock might not be a favourite (understatement..), but i'm glad i get to use him once in a while. And him being a 5* at least makes the tile damage considerable.0

I don’t play that way. Ive found it to be very costly in terms of time and health packs spent. If the 5* boosted isn’t at least L450 I drop down to SCL8. Until recently that was the case more often than not but with saved covers I feel less pressured to champ 4*s I’ll never use and instead I’m using that ISO to soft cap 5*s to around L350 for this purpose. I’ve already done that for all 3 of the current but can’t for a two cover character. Wouldn’t care all that much if it wasn’t a release and I wants already annoyed by the Dazzler situation.Richyyy said:

Thorkoye can 2v3 pretty much anything. I've even done it against the 515 Inhumans. It isn't ideal, but it is what it is.
ETA - And my Thor isn't even champed. I'm still 1 cover away.2 -
Love using my 457 Ock when he's boosted, that AoE is no joke! Glad to be in the minority for a new release......3

Two weeks from when the store closes is their official word. For 5* Star Lord, because of promotions, it ended on a Thursday and we got SL into the tokens two weeks later on Thursday.1
