    maybe if they consistently ranked in the top 5 in every quick battle ever.  Or maybe spent a ton of money on content that gave crystals.  Weren't there a few that you could purchase multiple times?

    Yeah i guess I'm assuming that the person wasn't buying crystals outright.

    I think I've opened about 22 premium packs for ixalan.

    I have 
    1 masterpiece
    16 mythics 
    36 rares from the set.

    I'll probably hoard now for rix .

    Going back to the players who claimed to spend a ton of money on this game at times where planeswalker/special-card bundles weren't a thing, I would imagine crystals would be the next most valuable purchase.

    Unless they bought a lot of potions ;)

    I was hoping to start hoarding for RIX but next week two planeswalkers come to the vault that I need. GW Ajani and GR Samut....So I will get them and probably have nothing for RIX lol

    @Bullvinne W/G Ajani isn’t great. There is a W/G Hautli coming in RIX — I would suggest waiting and comparing.

    Ajani WG is excellent for “Win with x or more life” but those don’t happen very often.

    RIX seems great if the first two previews are anything to go by. Just hope it doesn't go HoD on us and returns to power creep due to the whining about IXL

    The feedback about IXL was legit. But if we are going that route then feel free to label the feedback about powerful cards as **** and whining too. Including this preemptive comment of yours.

    I'm certainly hoarding for Rix now, so done with Ixalan. 10 PPS, all across ixalan and event booster and no mythics.

    5 rare+ elite packs and I got 2 regisaur alphas from them.. my only ixalan mythic.

    saving for RIX too

    my only mythic is legion's landing.  Put it in a deck and after ~20 matches I'm still yet to draw it (weird luck I guess).  Doesn't really seem that good anyways...

    The few rares I drew weren't too bad tho (Ixalan's binding, and the 4/4 haste dude that adds another creatures power to it).

    My hope for RIX is that they really work on the tribal synergy in such a way that the IXN cards become more playable. Also that they don't do that thing with events where the objectives run counter to gameplay and the theme of the event. A feild effect that encourages spellcasting with an Anti-magic objective, who's idea was that?

    But with cycling still in standard I'm not going to need any RIX cards.

    If they keep up the pace in which they are going now, we could see Dominaria in June, maybe by mid-July? But that's just an educated guess at the moment.

    perhaps...it makes me wonder how easily it is to design new cards.  I'd assume designing the new card mechanics is what takes most of the time, and toggling pre-existing mechanics into new cards would take much less time.  With WoTC supplying all the art, they don't have to worry about that, and I highly doubt there was any form of testing pre-Ixalan, but maybe they've made that a higher priority now.

    Dominaria drops at the end of April -- I think it's completely reasonable to assume that we will see it by June.

    I'm amazed you still play cycling.  I haven't touched the stuff since beginning of HoD

    so many sets, that's definitely a way to get new purchases out of people :)
