Stocking Up for RIX?

Am I the only one who is now saving crystals and unobtainium for RIX? I have all of the IXN commons and uncommons, 25 rares and 11 mythics. My last 2 PP were entirely dupes (and both had multiple rares) There are some things I want, but nothing I feel I need -- so I've decided to start banking. Anyone else?

    I probably should.  I also have all the commons and uncommons as well as most of the rares.  I do want Dowsing Dagger tho.  Difficult decision.

    I'm not, as I want to get all the Planeswalkers with crystals. After that I'll start getting packs. That'll probably be around when RIX is out, I'm only missing Nissa3, Tezz1, and the three Ixalan Planeswalkers. RIX will probably bring Angrath and W/G Huatli, so I'll save a bit for that too if I have the chance.

    Yeah i think I'm gonna start doing that too, except I'm going to save crystals for Vraska. I will probably start saving jewels too

    Yah. I pulled 3 unique mythics with unobtainium. I think I’ve more than tested the fates.

    Me too, waiting for new non dupe commons and uncommons from RIX.

    Also waiting with jewels .

    I haven't really bought any ixalan . Think I got a pp and my ai packs . Can't really say it's hurt anything. Probably pick up a couple pp this weekend. We'll see what happens when rivals hits .Since I haven't spent any money, I theoretically have a double budget for rivals . Fingers crossed, though. I don't like not liking this game.

    Got barely any mythics, since I keep opening dupes of the two mythics I have.

    Will start saving up when the current +50% expires

    I should start saving... Have all commons and uncommons. Need 5 more rares and have 13 of the mythics... Still no masterpieces from the set.

    HAH, you all have mythics and rares from this set.  That's silly.

    I got 3 Ixalan rares from tinykittys and maybe half of the commons/uncommons at best.

    If acquiring Ixalan cards was equivalent to leveling up your DnD character and getting better armor, I think I found what I'd be in comparison to y'all:

    This is one of the reasons I'm against making the game anymore difficult than it already is.  If Race to Orchza (I probably misspelled it again) becomes a normal thing; where coalition points are awarded only for completing difficult and risky objectives, and not in actually winning...that'll be a serious blow to our non-elite player base.

    This game does not need to be harder for the elites to feel challenged.  They've essentially beat the game, so it's on them to find ways to challenge themselves, not the developers to re-hash the entire game at every non-elites expense.

    This is important and deserves being quoted -- though for the record, I support varying degrees of difficulty like either / or objectives or events like TotP. 

    However, the fact that so many top players don't even need IXN cards anymore because we had such big stashes of crystals and unobtainium says a lot.

    I'm pretty sure Brigby said that the no points for winning in RtO was a glitch, just like getting no coalition points at all. I'm hoping the no rare rewards was a temporary thing, and will go away once Ixalan becomes craftable. Or after we complain enough, whatever works.

    Yeah I'm with you on different degrees of difficulty.  Ideally, it would be nice if there was a place that challenged each level of player at their level (which is why, again, I love Avacyn's Madness so much).

    Yeah some of the crystal vaults I've heard players had (150,000+) just baffles me, but then again I'm not so great at saving.  ;)

    he did?  It's not in the listed changes for RtO.  Yeah I'm hoping the rare rewards come back too, even if it's just from a non-Ixalan set that'll get me a dupe.
