    It took well over a hundred iso8.png per match to find non maxed 166/270 teams once I got past the seeds, but I made it to 300 with an early 2->3 roster (all sub-level 110 characters). I had to whales my last match for the token (I didn't get anyone usable, but it was still worth it for the principle), since ~1,500 iso8.png didn't give me any matchups against non-270's. If Hulk wasn't my top 3-star (due to a random influx of covers this season), I'm not sure I could have even come close to 200, as badly-underleveled Hulks on 3-star teams were the only beatable teams I found after a while.

    That said, I seem to recall not many 2* players bothering with Hulk PVP's in the past, so it's hard to say how much of this is MMR vs the event itself. We shall see next event, I guess.

    Luckily one of my highest is Doom (5/1/5 lvl 142) Doom's purple > hulk. For some reason, since it is a trap, basically it seems calculated as self inflicted damage, like his clap, it doesn't even anger him. Usually takes 2 rounds of traps to off him, but it is effective.

    One more 2* player completely burnt out by the new match making system. Used to be able to get to 400 comfortably, then get my HP and wait to get beat back some. Currently sitting at 170-ish points and after about spending 200+ iso and not getting anything close to a decent matchup, I'm out. Weirdly, I don't appear to be getting attacked either. A team of lvl 94 Ares/OBW with a 93 (powered up to 163) Hulk should be easy pickings for plenty of players. The match making is straight up broken.

    For all my complaining about this event and the changes, it looks like I'm going to finish higher than I ever have. Right now I'm shielded at rank 32 with 90 mins to go. Usually I'm just under rank 100.

    Of course that may be a symptom of people just not playing the event because they're so annoyed with the changes...

    And that's "higher" only in my final ranking. As far as progression goes, I'm barely over 500 points which is close to where I used to land previously.

    EDIT: Final score was 550 points and rank 35. Only shielded once toward the end. Considered breaking to try to get above rank 25 but all of my matches were coin flips and I didn't want to risk it.

    Add me to the list of players confused by the new matchmaking.

    I'm at 135 points right now, and I'm really struggling to find decent battles. I have no one above 94, but I'm getting matched against people with maxed star.pngstar.pngstar.png and nearly fully covered Hulks. Meanwhile, my Hulk has only 2 covers.

    I just checked to see if Demiurge is hiring, and they are! Too bad I don't quite fit their requirements for their positions, as it would be tempting to apply otherwise.

    Yup, 2* players seem to be invisible to everyone...which ultimately is devastating to 2* players.

    Yeah, I give up. I got hit by someone so I'm even lower now but I can't find any matches without at least one 166. Can't even get the 2 star.pngstar.png reward!

    I'm curious to see how the DD event goes. That is, will it calibrate so those who just got stonewalled will see easier matches? I also think fewer people have DD fully covered than Hulk, but that's pure speculation.

    Yeah I was going to do a push before this evening but I'm getting nailed too hard and don't even have a max 3* roster yet. Only one max 3* period. Would be nice to play against people in the 3* category instead of X-Force + Max Hulk + random support.

    2* player here as well with nobody over 85. Seeing 166 teams after first 5 battles and only hit 125 points. Under the old mmr I could get to 400 points with some effort. Now? I'm highly dependent on an extremely lucky board to help me win which is utterly stupid.

    And I'll post results here as well. I tried to track every single match in Hulk PVP: what I attacked, what I skipped, who attacked me, what rank I was, how long between matches, how long left in event.

    I ran the seed teams with 2*'s. After that, every matchup afterwards was 166 (290) Hulk, 250 5/5/2 X-force, 166 DP. I only have five 166's, boosted Hulk to that specifically for this event/test. This "best team" is pretty much forced upon everyone - if you are fighting against everyone with their best team, you have to bring your best team. [Noted two exceptions vs. Hood, when it was 290 Hulk/250 XF/166 Hood followed quickly by a DP match to keep that team on defense.]

    A note on how I play (and how I have played for months and months), when you think: why not attack? D3 might want to pay attention to what at least THIS player enjoys. I like NOT being attacked and losing points - so regardless of how much a team that I can beat is worth, I usually won't attack a team that is likely to attack me back until near the end of the event. I'll also often skip matchups that are worth less than 20 points.

    Some interesting notes to take from this:
    At least 58 X-force encountered (may not have written down a couple). Fifteen hulks encountered less than level 200, no loaners seen.

    Team-mates were commenting on how boring the PVP was, and I concur: with so much life to churn through, it's really hard to play a bunch in a row without needing lots of health packs (a concern I have with future PVP's if the MMR stays the same and health is boosted on so many characters).

    I'm assuming this is from the changes? I got to 70 points and now all my fights are 166 teams with 290 hulks...skipped a ton of matches so far and still haven't found anything my 2 star team can handle. My highest 3 star character is only level 94.

    Lowest hulk i encountered so far is 132 but he has a 200+ xforce.

    Can usually get to 300-500 point range every time.

    Horrible event, the hardest climb ever, beat the 3 seed teams then nothing but maxed or semi-maxed team all the way. Manage to get 555pts with attacks coming for everywhere. Not much fun! Was I nerfed to!?

    Okay, I thought it was just me but I guess many are feeling the pain. I don't have anyone past 94 and I'm being matched with nothing but 160 teams. this system doesn't make sense. I give up. I'll save my iso and if it's not fixed, I'll take my money elsewhere.

    I feel this was the first "super strange" event for me - I joined a bracket late and finished #43 with less than 400 points (like 320 or so, if memory serves me correctly) but it was a serious struggle to even get that far. It was obviously much worse since I don't have Hulk on my roster, but I saw a lot of the post-seed scaling others mentioned above. I pretty much "had" to take any matchup that featured a < 290 Hulk...
