    All of those characters are buffed for Simulator, so he is probably getting very easy nodes and wiping them out. I assume that is what is happening for the guy who was leading my hard bracket (until I just passed him). His entire roster is:

    344 lvl 70 Modern Captain America
    553 lvl 50 Modern Storm
    55 lvl 40 Modern Black Widow
    100 lvl 40 Human Torch
    100 lvl 40 IM40
    001 lvl 40 Punisher

    If you figure he is getting a big buff to Cap, Storm, and Torch, but facing nothing opposition, it would explain how he managed to get 17800 points in the "hard" bracket.

    Is there something weird about this event? It's just that the top 10 alliances don't include any x teams. Is "lame on" 2* torch that unwanted?

    I know I won't be him using outside of required events/nodes.

    My alliance is #3 and no one in it seems to know why. I think early on, when we were (briefly) #1, we just decided to roll with it, though I've probably been putting less effort into it than I usually do, at least when there's a new character.

    Not enough grinders in my bracket to achieve 150k, it seems. I am sitting in first atm with measly 111k points while top alliance players have 129k+. For once, I am regretting not being in a highly competitive bracket icon_lol.gif

    I think there's something to this. I've done well in previous events by getting into a lazy main bracket, but I made sure to jump into the later subs quickly to get in with some crazy grinders and rubberbanded my way to main bracket success.

    This event...I don't know. I usually like Sim events for the variety, but I can't get into this one. The Torch-lite rewards situation being a big part of it. I already got most of the 500 Iso rewards, yay? And I'll probably try and rubberband up and maybe sneak into the top 10 for some HP in the subs. But ultimately this event gets a big fat meh.

    I'm barely playing! I don't start the sub-events until the last day. Play all nodes once and then just the featured character nodes whenever I remember. I'm currently leading our bracket by 26K points and I have no idea how. I guess no one cares about Baby Torch. icon_e_smile.gif

    I do need the red X-Force to cover max mine, so I guess there's that.

    Since T5 seems incredibly easy to get I'm trying that.

    Have to say the Sim 10 hard really increased in lvl today. Caps Star-Spangled Avenger really packs a punch now.

    Seriously. I've hardly played this event at all and my levels for that node are over 200. Highest I've seen in three, maybe four events. Had to break out CMags to regulate with HT and LThor. Finished with barely a scratch on me, which of course will probably make it go up another 50 levels. icon_razz.gif

    With 5 hours to go... probably not.

    vudu is leading our bracket with 131k, but we've a lazy bracket. He's almost 50k above 10th place.

    I did however just have one of the most humiliating things happen. Playing against the DD/Loki/Patch in hard mode. Get down a Daken strike tiles while getting green for Sentry. Fire off World Rupture, match and pass the turn. Loki matches something, cascades a couple more black... Trickery. Got to watch my big fancy world rupture go off for a whopping 12 damage to each member of the opposing team. Should have been about 7-800 per explosion. It was 1. And Daken ate an Equalizer during the World Rupture going off and was AFK for the rest of the game. I won, but it was ugly.

    They should have made daken 130 or 135k. 150 is unattainable.

    I am very happily done with this event.

    Just played the Spidey/Don/Venom Node in Hard Mode, and it wasn't even like a,"challenging" difficulty. It was just obnoxious and obviously designed to favor the computer.

    Had MStorm on my team and started with the +3 Red/Yellow bonus, and the board literally had NO environment tiles for the first several turns. I was able to get some cascades for myself and still nothing. But, shock awe, the board always had possibilities for the computer to make cascades for their characters. And even if it isn't true healing, Spidey's Web Bandages healing half of total health with maybe 1 Web Tile on the board is just idiotic.

    But I got the one thing I wanted from this event. My Green Sentry cover. Maybe I'll get a couple packs at the end of this round. If not, oh well. Would have just been some 2* covers I don't need. icon_razz.gif

    Getting Lazy Daken is a bigger tease than getting Lazy Storm two events ago.
