    Nearly 33 hours after the first sub has ended I've slipped a whopping 4 places in my main bracket, from 4 to 8.
    This is without touching the second sub yet.

    My ultimate goals for this in order are:
    1. Green Sentry
    2. Sub tokens and HP
    3. Top 50 individual, 100 alliance.

    If accomplishing 1 and 2 leads to 3, that's great. I'm at 37k currently, and hard mode alone has enough points to get that just doing the essentials once.

    It does look like, at a glance, my hard sub nodes have increased anywhere from 50-80 levels on the essentials. I seem to recall the one with Mstorm, Moonie, and the Lieutenant being around 80-90 when I first opened it. They're at 158/9 currently. Since I'm not planning to start the sub for another at least another 7-10 hours, I expect that it will climb a little higher.

    Shouldn't be a problem for 166 Patch, 196 Daken, 190 Sentry.

    I'm slightly torn since I like Simulator so much. I want to play it, but not enough to screw my scaling. Just enough to get HP, ISO, and bagmen.

    just chiming in to echo the sentiments above. i just joined the 2nd set of subs and did 1 full clear of each. maybe ill hit a few essentials in thr AM tomorrow...maybe i wont.

    thats the beauty of truely not giving a flying kitty about the reward. the funniest part is that with my poor attitude and lax play...im #4 overall

    I'm just having fun trying different combinations of what I have against the various nodes in the hard simulator. A lot of the time they all die horribly, it's hilarious. icon_lol.gif

    We had stupid team night in alliance chat as the first subs were ending. Someone shouts out a stupid team and everyone tries to complete a node with it. It was actually a lot of fun. Daredevil, She-Hulk, and MN Mags? Sure! The 4* posse? Why not! Spidey, Falcon, and Bullseye? Uh...yeah...that one didn't end well. icon_razz.gif Good times though. I highly recommend it.

    Next time I want to try MPQ Horse. Each player takes turns picking teams and nodes. No repeats until all of them are used. Then everyone has to do that node with that combo. If you fail you get a letter. If you spell H-O-R-S-E you're out. Last man (or woman) standing gets the satisfaction of a job well done (read as: absolutely nothing). Should be entertaining.

    Ares/Thor/OBW/Wolv/Daken/lvl50 Cap/Lvl50 Moonstone/Bullseye/cStorm/mMag/mHawk/Juggernaut/IM35/mStorm/cHawk/80 Sentry/75 Punisher/73 Panther/40 BagHulk/40 LDaken

    The hard nodes really put a strain on the ol' roster.

    Its good to see i'm not the only one doing that around here... i've been finally getting to test out some new combinations of characters that i either A) never bothered putting iso into, or B) just never thought would be fun to play with...

    Although no matter what happens, i agree there is a lot of dying involved when i use some of my lower ranked 2* characters, best is when sentry kills off your own team members when you don't pay attention to the life bar...

    I'm doing the node with CMags/Loki/Doom... Is it someone's job just to make these Nodes as irritating as possible?

    wonder what the "metrics" will look like for this, especially the drop-off in participation after the 42,000 score [Sentry].....

    Already have my 42k, might try some essential nodes that are worth 2k+ now for a single pass later just to try for the 500 iso. More focused on the usual LR farming, as it is a more productive use of scarce time. (That and I told Nonce I would have 5-Red Hulk data for him by the end of the LRs.)

    That said, I am laughing my tinykitty off over LR-buffed Hulks. 166 Hulk has about 17k health LR-buffed, and even the minimum-level seed team Hulks have 4300 health, some with Anger to boot (lol). I have never seen a LR go sooooooo sloooooowly before... icon_lol.gif

    Just noticed this as well when I looked at my Hulk's life bar with ~10000 hit points and it's HALF full (!!).

    Not sure how much I'll do going forward.

    I think buffed Torch is my favourite char for PVE right now, that red is sooo good.

    But this is getting tiresome.. Especially with sentry killing all his friends in that green emo blast.. spent all health packs just for a full clear..
    Though later nodes I switched to Johnny and he is more conservative regarding health packs.. can't wait for his round.. Mega boost, flame on..!

    No one in my main bracket has a chance of getting to Lazy D unless the points in the last sub are HUGE.

    I started work on the subs this morning. Currently in first place in main on 71K with a lead of 5K over second and 22K over 10th. (Not a bad thing since my HT for the 3rd set of subs is not well covered and low level). Will be interesting to see the numbers after the end of the sub. I am going to bow out at 110K for the extra 2K iso assuming that gets me top 50.

    I'm seriously thinking about just being done with this event. It's not even because it's too hard or anything. It's just so irritating constantly having games in this event where the board is set up perfectly to make sure I can only get matches I DON'T need. And I pretty much know there's no way in hell I can get anywhere near the Sentry reward, so I'd pretty much only be playing for more worthless Bagman packs.

    Just reached the 21000 Progress Reward Pack, and woo hoo: pulled a Modern Hawkeye. It's sort of amazing how much D3 or whoever has done to make the packs, the big thing people should be spending money on, seem so completely worthless.
