    Moonstone is preposterous.

Bring widow batons + quantum realm + soul stone and you're essentially doing 370k AoE turn0.

Plus you get a one-tile board destruction per cast, so with a tiny bit of luck you can do a mini Shang-Chi thing and cascade into another purple match (just in case anything survives the nearly 400k AoE damage).

Unboosted, at 550, her purple damage is 144k, which is still enough to oneshot almost anybody else who's unboosted. Get ready for Moonstone Puzzle Quest!

I’m ok with that. She should be powerful based on the source of her power.

Serious question: In your opinion, if you can't get that one big hit off quickly, how does the rest of her kit play?

I have no idea -- not being snarky, but I ran her with the above supports and wiped every single fight turn0.

    Fair enough.

I profoundly hate that there are even MORE annoying ascended 1* and 2* characters with cheap demon powers.

Her red is also one heckuva a deathray. Roughly 10x the dmg/AP of 2Cap's red. Why do they hate 2Cap so, so much?

Typical player doesn't have all the supports, or if they do they aren't maxed, nor do they have 2>5s up to 550.

But, for those who do ....

A couple of these characters are a bit of fun now.

550 2* are a LOT more rare than 1* right now, but it's just a matter of time -- folks will get there eventually.

Based on Moonstone, I’m really hoping 2 Wolvie gets similar treatment.

I’m about 3 covers from a 550 and he’s almost completely useless with a 12 ap power doing his main dmg.

I know it’s big dmg, but come on.

Yep, slow-rolling snowball. I have six 2's up to 550 and 7 others close ... generally the old 2s ofc, except nightcrawler, had help on him, he's way ahead of the other newer 2s.

For some reason 2Daken and 2Thor are lagging WAY behind, 300+ covers behind the other old 2s. Haven't even made the leap to 450 yet.

PvP is rapidly leaving me behind, it feels like everybody at least has a boosted 550 1* and the 2* will be coming soon I can feel it. And my two highest 5s are about to get nerfed! The worst thing is I didn't even chase them to the 527 and 525 level they are at, it just happened organically! Not looking good, lol!

So, Moonstone is completely shut down by anybody who makes a special tile turn0. I ran into this against 5* Kingpin -- you only get the 400k damage if the enemy has no special tiles, otherwise she just moves the tile.

You still get a decent amount of damage at lower purple levels (especially when boosted) and it'll only move certain colors of tiles, so that might be worth trying. Otherwise she can't faceroll guys like Rocket, Kingpin, Scarlet Witch...dunno who else. I think some supports create stuff turn0 too.

Yes, of the two ... more interesting ... buffs, 1HE is the reliable one.

I thought HE isn't entirely reliable since you need to always have a purple match available, but it's more consistent than I expected when I tried it. Throw in someone like 3 or 5 Storm for extra utility on green & yellow & it keeps rolling.

I only have a 1a3 HE at 266 & dupe at 255, but tested on all the DDQ nodes I could & even without boosts/supports it worked well. Once I could fire purple I rarely had to give the other team a turn.

I think it's ok really. "Unable to immediately murder a handful of characters" isn't that big a downside, all things considered.

2a5 cap is still pretty useless

You say that like any of the other versions are better.

When I started getting further into 4* land back in the day I used 4* Lord, Carol, and 3* Cap for a winfinite team that was pretty consistent at the time. Way to slow these days & you have to wait for an enemy to fire a power so you can get Star Lord's yellow out.

I've really never found much use for any other version of Steve.

I think with some of these buffs, 5Sunspot might get a second look. His passive when Moonstone or HE (or anyone) match their purple could be huge at 550. Just not sure if anyone has him at 550 yet to know what his passive damage does. And I'm too lazy to look it up on the forum (if his numbers were listed).

He's boosted right now, at lvl557 his passive (the one that does extra damage when somebody fires a power in his colors) does 18k damage.

It wouldn't be noticeable with Moonstone (who's doing like 20x that much damage on her purple) but could be a decent damage accelerator for infinite-Hawkeye.

I'm using 550 Hawkeye boosted to 672 with soul stone support which returns 5 ap in your strongest color every time you down an enemy, which is purple in this case. Then iron may with quantum realm and Falcon with widow batons and then also ap boosts. Most matches I'm starting with 16 purple ap.

It's extremely reliable. The only issue is the very rare occasion where both ap supports fail to fire.

You'd want a couple purple matches at 1st but after that you should be able to fire red once or twice which will then give you 3 more purple from his passive with each firing. And that's all to say if both your purple supports don't fire.

Even w/o the Soul stone, the revised 1HE is a machine. Played 100 matches. Terrible boards, supports let me down, didn't matter. Can't miss.

I haven't tried yet, but is he slow against enemies with high health? Are you doing anything to ramp up the damage?
