By the way, the devs are apparently planning a data patch sometime tonight that will tone down Nova considerably.
Per discord:
“Looks like all 3 are patchable tonight. I'll be posting notes for the other fixes later including the daily play fix for Winter in July.”
(All 3 colors are being targeted for adjusting.)

It does also come with the restriction that your second pick has to be a villain, in order to equip Tinkerer, so already quite restrictiveHow does her Black drain 16 enemy AP? It only converts 4 (or 5 tiles) and so only drains a max of 4 or 5 AP?
If you want to specifically drain Green you could bring Rulk (esp an ascended one) and use his Purple to drain all enemy Green AP. Costs 7 so you'd need to boost purple and get 6 from Quantum Realm.
This pre-drain idea of course presumes the other team isn't Franky/Chasm because if you are stunned turn 1 she'll already be airborne.

Shaw, Chasm and Agatha defeating Immortal Hulk, Franky and Torch AND with them using the cheapest supports available in gamma, leapfrog and Fantasticar....
the Shaw team is definitely the harder ones to crack. but when I'm on offense. Franky has stun immune 0 turn and I'm casting green first move, before your team moves. By the time Frankie returns, ihulk has cycled a few times and tanking all colors.
From a leaderboard placement POV:
Shaw is a pretty slow team to snipe a hopping Frankie/thor team. Aside from them floating for 10+m, No one will be able to use a Shaw team to disrupt a Frankie/thor team.Shaw teams won't inspire skips when the alternatives are 450+ Frankies. Its true though, a 550 Sam/juggs (implant/Ai) is a seal team to either Frankie/thor or Franki/ihulk
if your climbing from zero, its worth tappinng overnight floats. but once your over 500, you gonna wanna use your own Frankie/ihulk

Just joined sim and it's 85% this character ihulk and random 3rd. I've managed beat all of them easily and quickly with Multi Man with stepford cuckoo support and ascended coulson. Actually, since they're running ap boost supports on all 3 characters it makes it easier. Mm steals all that ap and I can generally end the match before they get a turn.
Of course this is sim so I don't care about being hit. In pick 2 this team will get murdered, so hopefully the nerf hammer comes down hard enough to make a difference.

She's definitely been toned down. With the shards, I've got her up to 3/2/2. At LVL 3, her green now does 440 AoE damage per charged tile on the board. Still impressive, but not "You're dead on Turn 0" busted.
With her red at LVL 5, she will do 17% increased damage and take 10% decreased damage for each charged tile on the board, up to 5. The decreased damage percentage does not change as you increase the level of this ability; only the increased damage percentage goes up.
She still can't be stunned thanks to the passive on her black ability, and still creates 5 charged tiles at the start of the battle.

Yeah she seems pretty irrelevant this morning. Job done you can all go back to moaning about new releases being rubbish again. Can we do the same with Gold May now please?

Yep. Not sure what specifically changed but she went from OP to useful (not useless) pretty quick. Unfortunately, I tested her a bit too much and missed a node on PVE. Oh, well. Her shards are best reward in PVE and now she is fairly middle of the pack. Maybe I'll test more in PVP to see if she has other good partners now.

I don't think it's (realistically) possible to have her at 550 yet -- I'm pretty sure you can't swap to her, so the only way would be to build a ton of 4* Torches.

I mean you could spend several stadium fulls of hp in her store. Approx one cover for 5 40 packs. 64000 hp per cover.
Let’s say you have a 460, just 90 covers or 5.76 million hp and you’re there.

All the people in sim that were running her last night have gone back to jugg/sam, but I'm not sure if that's due to her being nerfed or because they can run jugg with thanos copter and sam with leap frog again.

Toned down yes, but a character this useful at level 465*? That puts her at the bottom of the exponential scaling cliff. At 550 all her numbers will be ~doubled, and at 672, doubled again. And can't be stunned, goes airborne, strong dmg reduction. Sure, she was toned down from ludicrously egregious to merely obnoxiously egregious. Charged tile meta needed one more oomph to make it another viable meta, and she is it.
But, yes, go ahead and sleep on her, please

I haven't actually seen many yet as I softcap my team. If we're still looking for a better counter than Shaw, is there a world where Moonstone and Storm are the ideal counter to Frankie? Use Moonstone yellow to feed black to Storm and then use Storm to destroy all charged tiles. Add Lucky/Cart/L.L.A.I. to super charge a strike tile for a possible big damage Gathering Clouds? Still too slow on offense?

When does she become eligible for cover swaps? My guess would be when she enters Latest.
