Hey, everyone!

This month you gave us lots to think about in terms of future improvements. Thanks for your participation. This exchange of ideas has been really helpful. <3

  1. When will we be getting legacy set specific crafting? We haven't seen anything on the topic since like October q&a I think... this is something that the newer player base NEEDS to feel like we can hold our own against players in Legacy events that have had YEARS more 5ime to build their collections...

Answer: Legacy crafting is coming to the game in a future update, but we agree that is a big quality of life improvement that will be impactful once it is implemented. There are however other higher priority items being worked on by the team to be implemented before this one.

  2. Would like to know how difficult and/or likely it would be to create an option in the guild duel to fight a computer controlled deck using a deck of a guild mate you picked to fight.

Think this feature would make it easier to help guild members with their decks.

Answer: We appreciate the suggestion and we’ll look into it.

  3. Will we ever get a limitation to infinite loop enablers like omniscience? Its like opp casts one card and it keeps rolling rolling rolling until they win. Maybe limit to 3-5 cards per turn? I'm sure there are other infinite loops out there like the heal when deals damage and deals damage when heals

Answer: While we understand that loop style decks are not the preferred way of playing the game for everyone, it is still a valid play strategy, and changes such as this would alter how the game as a whole functions at a fundamental level, and we have no plans of making such changes at this point in time. That being said, we believe that formats should self-regulate over time as new cards are launched, and new strategies become available, or in extreme cases, perform balancing changes that alter one or more cards in a particular interaction. Be on the lookout for new options available at the launch of the new upcoming set, Outlaws of Thunder Junction.

  4. What are your plans for increasing the stability of the game? Sometimes matches are lost because the game freezes or the app resets. The first part could be solved by having some kind of reset option in the pause menu when the game is no longer responding / frozen. Are you aware that many of the players play this game on a mobile phone and that mobile phones are not gaming consoles? During the game, you have to answer phone calls and search for information for a while. In some cases, one match may take more than 30 minutes. Even in this case, the game should never be frozen or reset. The game should never be interrupted unless the smartphone battery dies or you accidentally close the game application.

Answer: We are always committed to enhancing the stability of the game, and instances like this one serve as a prime example of the disparity between consoles and mobile devices. Not only do mobile devices have varying access to system resources, but their hardware specifications are also considerably diverse. The management of memory and concurrent applications is equally dynamic, often influenced by the version of the operating system in use. We acknowledge that this situation is less than ideal, but rest assured, we are actively exploring solutions to ensure improved stability for a larger portion of our player base.

  5. One of the players in our team reported that he drew six copies of the same card in the first 10 draws. He did not use cards or planeswalker abilities that shuffle the deck or order the cards in his deck. How is this possible?

Answer: The scenario above can be obtained under certain specific conditions, such as if the player fetched for all copies of one specific card, and then an action attempts to fetch for yet another copy of that card, the system can initiate deck refresh, which would add extra copies of cards into the library.

  6. Is there any traction yet on getting WAR Vanguard packs updated to bring them in line with other Vanguard packs (400 crystals, no dupes)?

Answer: This change was recently discussed, and the Vanguard Packs for War of the Spark will be updated to follow the same standard as the other Vanguard Packs present in the game (120 Mana Jewels for the Rare+ pack, 400 mana Jewels for the Mythic+ non-dupe pack). This will be implemented in a future update.

  7. Will the remaining PW from the aftermath ever come to us? Like Archangel Elspeth, maybe as surplus PW from newer releases? Or a new release just with them?

Answer: We mentioned previously, but there is always a chance that planeswalkers will eventually make their debug in Magic: Puzzle Quest.

  8. Would you consider making Planeswalkers purchased for money a separate Planeswalker from the ones purchased for mana crystals? Something similar to how there are regular cards and full art cards and you can collect both. Give the one you buy for money some alternate art and let you collect both. They'd be functionally identical but you could collect both either for the art or because you want more decks slots for that Planeswalker by having two copies of it.

Answer: Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll pass it down to the development for analysis.

  9. Can you comment on your philosophy when it comes to the free daily events, like RP? What role should these events have in the overall plan of the game, and what goals should they pursue?

Answer: This question was already answered in the January/February Session.

  10. Hello

First of all, thank you for listening to the community and adding, among other things, that events can be fully playables at the beginning of the event, this makes it much easier to organize our time to play them.

There are currently more than 8,000 cards in the game, which can be filtered by a very small number of options. I know that you are working on a UI revamp, it would be interesting to add (apart from new filtering options) the possibility of marking cards as favorites to also be able to filter by this function and reduce the number of cards that each player considers less useful to them at the time to build decks. It would also be interesting to be able to rate these favorite cards to be able to filter them more easily, such as rating them with stars, for example, how movies are rated on certain platforms, so we could have the entire collection rated and access the most used ones in a much simpler way.

Likewise, with almost 150 PWs available, the option to select several as favorites so that the most used ones can be filtered quickly would be very useful.

Another question about PWs. As there are too many of them now, the rotation to buy one of them may be too long especially for new players, sometimes they need to wait for months. It could be possible to rotate more frequently (add more PWs in each rotation) and keep availables for more than one week as in the past?

Answer: The suggestion to mark cards and select cards as favorites is a great one. We’ll be forwarding it to the development team for internal discussion. We'll also discuss internally how the rotation for of planeswalker available for Mana Crystals is handled for upcoming months.

  11. Would it be possible for you to start posting PW details in the aptly-named "Planeswalker Details" forum again? It was valuable for those of us wanting to see how a planeswalker scales to 60, since looking in the PW screen in-game only shows them at level 1. The forum is at https://forums.d3go.com/categories/planeswalker-details if you aren't familiar with it. It hasn't been updated since you took over.

Answer: Yes! We’ll update the forum with the information from all missing planeswalkers, and we are also currently looking into ways to make this information available in-game.

  12. Can we have another Planeswalker deck slot sale please? We haven't had one in ages!

Answer: We mentioned this in previous Q&As, but we are still looking into this topic, and more news will be shared once they become available.
