Tokens are such a bad deal. I seriously have no clue who buys them. But people must because otherwise the price would be better. 10 packs are outrageously priced. If they were a daily deal for 1500 you'd see more people maybe lean towards the gambling aspect.

Cautionary tale I just bought a Logan's Loonies because I'm really needing a LazyStorm green cover (I have red and black) so I decided to take advantage of her PvP event to buy a ten-pack. I opened ten two star characters. Even more painful was realizing, half a second later, that I could have levelled her up thrice for that money.

I used to - when you've got almost no 3*s it's worth a punt every couple of events.

This isn't a bad idea. At the very least, she could play with just under 24h left, when there isn't too much activity in an event, and get a high score. Just throw down a 24h shield and relax the rest of the event.

looks like things are aligning quite nice for her, the HP is on sale (well not on sale really, but more bang for your buck as our American friends might say) she pulled a red hulk cover from a standard token yesterday reducing the amount she would have to buy, the changes to the reward structure means she stands a good chance of getting some spidey covers (she really wants them covers) and the red Punisher reward for the Season 3 simulator is very achievable

looks like she will be splitting the HP between rounding off some characters (probs Hulk and Punisher) and using it for shields in the pvp's.....I do love it when a plan comes together

This is a nice sentiment. But instead how about you tell her that she is an awesome girlfriend, support her while she is making a pvp run, don't complain about her silly game and take that money and spend it on a nice meal together. Preferably during an event lull.

Have not fear on this one, I will be taking her out for a nice meal (or over indulgent take-away (her choice) as part of this complete with some flowers (Although can not longer get her favorites (lilies) as we have just gotten a kitten) and a few items from her Amazon wish-list that she has been eyeing up for months.

When I started playing the 10x token packages had the guaranteed 3* featured hero. I bought a number of them and built a decent roster. But now that there is no guaranteed cover, I don't think it is worth it. I'd finish her Pun, and save the rest for shields. Shield hopping is a great way to get 2 covers in PvP.
