Unreachable / Too easy rewards ladder (PvE)

I know I'm certainly horrible at maths...but devs either...
Why do we have, sometimes an unreachable rewards ladder and the next event... an extremly too easy rewards ladder for PvE ?
Maybe we had few events with reasonable ladder...but honestly fewer compare the other two...

Can't they adjust it...like they do it sometimes ? Or it's probably useless to ask with one day left ?
It would be so rewarding to open MPQ in few hours and see shiny rewards & covers falling in our hands.

    What exactly is this "nice thing"? Cause honestly I cant find one good thing about TaT, I will write even more and say its worst pve event during my 3 months of playing.

    I for one completely support the attainable progression rewards. Got my hulk, so I don't feel the event was a waste, and didn't to grind and replay like crazy to get it. Sure, you need to grind for getting for Storm. This is a good balance that rewards the competition, but still allows the casual player to progress.

    I can get it for the newer/casual players it's cool ladder...but like we said...more we have, happier we are (or something like that).
    I don't really watched now the scores, but when you see some already yet at 90k and the ladder is at 25k...there is like a little (big) problem...no ?
  • If I had to put a number on it, I would say 80% of all the PvE events have had top rewards that were unreachable.

    So, I would say be thankful they made a mistake and move on.

    Their PvE scoring is (partly) dependent on how much other people play. Their level scaling was screwed up, so it allowed people to play way more than they had anticipated. Which is why scores are so inflated for this event.
  • Its my first TaT so dont have idea if they just copy/paste structure of progression rewards but comparing to other events it looks like they cut rewards in half. In all (?) other events we were getting another set of token/ISO/HP/3*. Anyway we must take what they will give us, we cant demand we want more, even if progression rewards looks strange.

    They seem to vacillate between good rewards that no one reaches, or tinykitty ones that most people get. While I prefer the latter (as we have in TaT), I think there needs to be a better middle ground.

    It seems to me that they cut the progression rewards on events that have lots of sub events since they end up handing out a lot of tokens, iso, and hp. Different players want different things, so not everyone prefers the hp and iso and would rather have the covers. But with the way the event is structured with the main nodes opening up so early it's just not worth grinding the subs for the rewards.

    Agreed.
    Plus when you see 2000 points on essential nodes in the main while 500+ or a little more in the subs...You don't have to think too much before choose which is the priority.

  • Their clear solution was to still make many unreachable awards but to just not list them. At 500k you get one of every cover . .. .grind away!

    I think if I had to choose ... I would choose too easy vs unreachable. But that could be just me.

    You mean a progression with 2 different path; easy/hard ladders ?

    He means that having top progression rewards that everyone easily reaches is better than having top progression rewards that no one reaches. I agree with that.

    That said, I think there's a bit of confusion here. fritejay, if I understand you correctly, you want additional rewards beyond 25K. However, I recall only two instances where progression rewards actually scaled well: the most recent Hulk PVE and the BP-introducing PVE. Ergo, I think it's better not to look a gift horse in the mouth and complain about not having higher progression rewards to earn, since having such rewards usually means the top progression reward(s) are essentially impossible to obtain.

    Yeah, that's the thing - if they put another 3* reward out at 150,000 or something, people would sit here complaining how they couldn't possibly reach it, despite getting the earlier Hulk reward and possibly some intervening hp/iso/token, which would be more than they have now.

    In my opinion the middle ground should be something like all 3 covers for a character in the rewards, but the top cover being something that very few people can get, if at all.

    How about putting all the covers in in attainable progression rewards. Let the grinders grind for more HP, iso and duplicates of the same covers.

    Getting the hulk was nice but I really wanted storm covers but i cant no-life it every 3-6 hours like every tinykitty in my brackets.

    I only could agree on that one...or maybe put Storm cover (just 1 at least) in a node...like they did with Sentry (and on an old Hulk event).
