    Welcome

I have a pressing matter that needs urgently addressing

Would the iP2 team rather fight 5 duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck?
No weapons allowed, just pure hand to hand contact

    Eagerly awaiting your reply

    I have polled the team.
In general, we acknowledge that a fight with a horse-sized duck would be epic and cool, but feel we have better survival odds with 5 duck-sized horses. Most of the team also brought up having an easier time kicking them.

Best summarised by one of our artists "so if i wanna win, the first one. if i wanna have a good time, the latter"

    Steve says
"As much as I have a healthy fear of regular ponies - born from interacting with some of the meanest, unhinged, little beasts that ever existed - I think that when duck-sized they might just become manageable. I think the team would pull through with zero casualties.

A horse-sized duck on the other hand - while I feel we could take it.... their striking speed combined with the power that size brings would almost certainly result in some taller members of the team getting picked off. I'm just not prepared to sacrifice Finn and Gabe for the glory of taking down such a magnificent beast."

There were two outliers who chose the horse-sized duck. One because they felt the duck-sized horses would be too cute, the other because they felt 5 duck-sized horses would overwhelm them with sheer numbers.

I hope this adequately answers your question and addresses your future concerns.

Sooo can we expect the next new Boss event to be against Howard the Duck (Horse-Size) with Howard the Horse (Duck-Size) enemy minions coming later this year?

The horses are named Dullard. I think.

It’s a bit insulting, but fitting nonetheless.

    Hi new team.

How many developers do you have on this project? How many QA?

I hope your performance optimization includes improvements to Android because it lags badly compared to iOS and Steam.

    Cheers.

    …..and iOS just freeze crashes constantly…..yaaay! ;-)

iOS can probably restart the app and hit the node faster that Android can load a team, buy boosts, then fire a power. :D

Crashes suck. My Android device (current: Pixel 9 and previous: Pixel 7) crashes every time a character is down and I hit the revive+start button in the bottom right of the screen repeatedly to load the next match super fast. I have to slow down and hit revive or tap on the character to revive, wait a second until I see they are healed then hit start. I've asked others on Android and they don't seem to have this problem. None of the people I've asked have Pixels though.

Pixel 6a here. It was working relatively fine up until a few weeks ago when they pulled some levers to get Strange Sights up and running. Since then, I'm stuck on the rotating red circles screen. Uninstall/reinstall does not fix the issue.

Duck sized horses all day, a horse sized duck would be unstoppable

Always makes me smile when people actually give this some serious thought.
As ip2 says i think the horse sized duck would be the most dangerous, because it could take your head off but the thought of punching such an animal could be worth the gamble.
Equally the duck sized horses are easier to deal with but if you are on your own could you die from being trampled on? I'd imagine the animals would have to have been doped up on something, rage from 28 days later or something.
Still excellent to see people's thought processes over a ridiculous scenario.

This is MPQ. It's a horse sized venom duck.

So I've read the "resumes" and no one said they are an actual player of MPQ...

Is that something for us to be worried about? Realize that there are still some people here that are still playing since Day-1...

    (Day-4361 player here).

    Day 4474 here.

I've seen the ideas that other players have, and if we were in charge we'd have killed the game about 50 times by now. The devs should make the game they want, because catering to the 12 remaining veterans will just dig the hole even deeper.

Follow up question: If you did come across a horse-sized duck, would you boop the snoot? I don't think it's a stretch to say the fate of all humanity may depend on your answer.

Just to be fair, a counterpoint would be the article I read earlier today where the head of Pocket Pair (who make Palworld) said applicants have to submit a screenshot of their Steam play records. If they don't have enough hours logged or enough indie games they don't even get an interview.

Reading through all the comments here, I get the feeling you all aren’t aware of what vicious actions ducks are capable of…

Short Term - Finding Our Feet In this phase, we will be focusing on getting content out as smoothly as possible and making sure we’re very well across that process. We will also be looking at some smaller items we can deliver to improve the game. For example, minor performance optimisations, bugs, and QOLs we think we can deliver without causing unintended ripples in this fragile ecosystem.

    Hi and welcome!

For that fragile ecosystem, we read in an earlier post that you are reading old guides from the community to figure out the game. Would be cool if you joined the Discord and the new player experience channel so we can bring you up to speed. It would also give us an avenue of contacting you directly when easily fixable issues such as scheduling errors (length and data), rewards errors (rotation, offering IF after his PVP, etc) happen.

    Thank you

They got all that from here! They've been great at posting on the forum and responding to questions and suggestions so far.

Maybe all the Discord people should come here instead.

Yes, that’s what I’m worried about. That they got it from here. 😉

It’s more about getting direct communication in back and forth talk as they seem to be ingoring issues such as several wrong start times, event lengths etc..

    Thank you

Oh they're not ignoring that stuff though! Like all that has been raised and they've been responding to us about it. They're just in way way over their heads right now. The handoff they got from BCS appears to be woefully inadequate.
