That's not how MPQ works and it's not how it's ever worked. Players who think it works this way are why they're going broke.

You pay the devs when you're tired of losing to the other people who paid, so you can get your revenge on them. If people only paid when they were happy, the game would've gone under in 2014. No one has EVER been happy with MPQ.

Anyway I'll enjoy my Galactus over here! Hope you don't get run over by him!

Purring aside how much revenue is enough etc.

You can’t buy Galactus shards besides if you buy the Skip the Line offer right now. There haven’t been offers in a few days, maybe longer. The last offer may have been October 30.

They aren’t even trying hard to sell shards to us.

I have no idea what they're thinking.

By this point in the 5* launch they'd given whales a way to spend infinite money on Surfer (and a few did, then basically dominated the game for a few months). Nobody is going to chase Galactus unless they're behind. FOMO is the only reason to spend in MPQ.

That's not entirely true. I spend money on costumes because I want them to make more costumes (especially the comic shaded ones like Electro, Mephisto, Thanos, etc.). The best way I can encourage any company that sells a product to make more of a product is to buy the product they are offering.

Same goes for the 1a5 offers. I buy them because they are a good value prospect and turn a relatively useless resource I have a lot of into something much more valuable to me. I'm fine with getting more HP over time than I would if spending the same amount directly from the resource shop, especially since that outlay includes ISO, CP and LL tokens over that time period, too.

Neither of those examples are from me having FOMO. Its become clear that whatever issue is happening with Kindles and money offers/the resource shop isn't going to be fixed soon, so I'm not even in a position to spend ANY money on the game, currently. If I really wanted to I could open an account on a different device and synch them so I could be doing that, but I'm not. IF I did make those purchases because of FOMO, then I would definitely be scrabbling to do just that.

I think it's a terrible situation for a pay to win game when half the players don't care about winning and the half that do care have figured out how to do it for free, forever.

It's entirely a situation of their own making, as well. They created and enabled both groups.

I just discovered that the problem you’re having is directly due to Unity itself and not something our devs messed up. Unity updated their engine and broke this function for Kindle players.

Who knows if or when it’ll be fixed.

It isn't like it is the first time they have made super player friendly decisions that must have cost them dearly. Like those re-settable vaults with all the roster slots. I don't know how many rosters slots you can have but some players may never need to buy another one! Personally I am down to my last 7 spare, so if they could do another one for Christmas!

Seriously though, with two more 6* to come, why are they not pushing Galactus? Why have they not created a new currency for 6? We have a shiny new SCL10 meant for 6 with no 6* in it! I hope the next release has a PvP so we can actually try out a 1/1/1 loaner.

I'm sure the answer to this question is that they are waiting to have at least 3 6 stars to be in the store. When 5 stars first released, they had cp stores with just the new 5 star in it. Which was awesome for us, if the new 5 star seemed great you could pull and only get 5 star draws for them.

I saved up my CP and spent it in the store that only had Thanos in it, which is how I got my first fully covered 5 star. And then the next release was for black panther, who paired perfectly with thanos and Panthos became the new meta.

I'm sure they don't want people to be able to go all in on one 6 star and not have to worry about RNG.

We didn't get CP right away, but we did get legendary tokens. They were incredibly rare -- you only got them from winning placement or purchasing a (otherwise worthless because we didn't have champions) 40 token pack.

But there's currently no way to get Galactus at all, even with unlimited money. It's the worst of both worlds, they've got the usual suspects complaining about a "cash grab" but they've utterly failed to actually grab any cash.
