What does your ascension list look like?

I ascended a bunch when it first started, but now I wish I had not ascended most of those. Other than ones like Polaris, Coulson, etc.

3s are my slowest to get covers for. But now most of my 1, 2 and 3s are all at 4* level 330+ and I’m getting loads of CP from champ levels.

Mostly because of the ISO haha.

I used to ascent 3 & 4 when reaching lvl 183, 280 respectively, but now trying to max/max and it's very slow... But no worries on ISO...

I max max 4's unless they'll be immediately useful (and there are some of those), everyone else gets ascended min-max above their native tier. It's true that rewards are slightly better long term max-maxing everybody but they're also taking up roster slots and (if the rest of your roster are high) you can't use them when boosted in PVP or anything... I'm also way more concerned with the 5* token and cp rewards, they're the most relevant thing to late-game players.

This is a very fun list. I highly recommend Northstar, though I do find him best with someone like Baku standing in front of him.

Interesting to ask this question now after a good chunk of time has passed since ascension descended upon us.

When it dropped, first thing I did was try to assign ascension priorites to all the 3s and 4s ... it was obvious all the 1s and 2s would be ascended rather quickly, in the normal course of play, and they can't be favorited anyway.

I based my priorities on in-game utility, how well-fed they were, and the value of who the characters fed, and how many they fed. And, in the case of 3s, whether they were featured in LRs, where they get the sweet +50% levels boost.

The purpose wasn't to literally ascend these characters in this order ... in reality everyone's roster has characters at various levels. If a bottom-barrel priority is only a few covers from ascending, am I going to push everyone past him? Ofc not, go ahead and push the loser over the line, for the rewards and to get them done. The purpose of the lists was to give guidance when chooseing between two or more characters to push; here are the possibles, who's best among them.

Looking back at the lists ... they aren't terrible. Once I settled on my ascension management strategy, it turned out I wasn't going to min+max any 3s or 4s in their original tier, so I shouldn't have considered feeding, I was collecting all those rewards anyway. So, for instance, CMags ended up a third way down the 3* list, because he feeds great characters. True, but I wasn't going to max+min, take out the feeding consideration and he shoots up to top 8.

Another big unknown that couldn't then be known was the changes to characters powers when they are ascended, and, rarer, characters that would be buffed or had recently been buffed. So, i had Coulson a third of the way down, and Northstar near absolute bottom. Now they would be higher, much higher.

Another x-factor has been who's going to be rewarded / offered the most over time?

And of course, there have been a lot of characters released since ascension, some of them quite "hot".

All that said, I have 82 4s ascended, only 16 not yet duped, the rest duped and that dupe somewhere between lvl 70 and 370. Mostly just ascending who's up next. And now who's up next is ... Ghost Rider. The old one. Then Kraven, then Ikaris.

The last 4 I pushed was Captain Britain. Don't sleep on Captain Britain! She turns a strong defensive wall into a mega AoE!

The only 4 I have 550'd is XFW. ALways been my highest 4 since 2014. Juggernaut, Medusa, and Chavez are about 20 levels (80 covers....blah) behind.

Almost all 3s are ascended to 4*, the game here is getting them to 5*. I have almost 20 of them there ... Thano3 in the lead at 491. Currently pushing good old 3Cap, to get another LR feature "up there". He will only be the 3rd LR 3* I get to 5* tier, already have IM40 and CMags there. It takes a long, loooooong time to get a 3* through the 4* tier (The Slough of Despond), so even though I max+271 or max+303 to get 3s up to 5 tier, it's slow.

This is a very fun list. I highly recommend Northstar, though I do find him best with someone like Baku standing in front of him.

When ascension first rolled out, i had some concern (not like keep you up at night concern, just you know, video game concern) that we would start to see specific ascension level requirements, or more base character requirements, and decided to re-roster 4* sabretooth before I dumped covers into his 5*. He was the only character I ended up doing that with, but I wonder if anyone else made a point to try to roster one of each tier, or if everybody was just "ascend, max, roster, repeat" and just do organic whatever happened.

There are a few chars I have made a copy in different tiers of. Got to hold back some 1s and 2s for DDQ, y'know.

The only char I have a "full set" of is Ditko Spidey. Have also kept multiple Yelenas and 1Juggs.

I had similar thoughts that level requirements might come in to play at somewhere down the line, so I made sure that I kept a copy of each character at their original level - meaning that every ascended character I do have is actually a duplicate. It has been fairly easy to do it this way, considering that most of my ascended characters have come from vault pulls or HP offers, and allowed me to leave the original versions as they were.

Just for fun, I like to put costumes on the ascended versions (when I own them) and leave the originals as is.
