It's well known that WotC is releasing fewer and fewer PWs in each set. In physical Magic, it doesn't matter even PWs exist or not, but in Puzzle, they're absolutely necessary, and their colors define the cards that can be used in each deck. Assuming that these three PWs don't seem they'll ever be available in physical format, and as the years go by, all new PWs tend to be only two-color monocolor, I think we should finally abbord the issue of why we still don't have the three-color Abzan (WBG), Naya (WRG), and Sultai (UBG) available.
In the end, if you want to make a deck with those colors, you'll end up resorting to the well-known Karn1 instead of having your own three-color PW, which makes it more interesting to make a more specific deck specialized in abilities from those three colors. The excuse that they don't exist in physical form and that we have to wait for WotC to create them isn't valid because, as has been mentioned before, there are five single-color PWs and one colorless created exclusively for MTGPQ in PMA, Daxos, Kalemne, Eldrazzi, and I don't know if I'm forgetting any. Therefore, it IS possible to create new PWs that don't exist in physical form. This isn't a whim for wanting to have certain PWs; it's a necessity when creating decks. Only three are missing. Two years after the new developers came in and suggested this option, these PWs are neither here nor expected to be created. However, a new Nicol Bolas is added, resulting in four Grixis (UBR) PWs.
And if the real problem is their PW status, then create some playable characters called: "Talented creatures that have nothing to do with PWs or anything close to it." (for example). Its just like if you don´t have the copyright of something like an human that is also a spider for digital edition and you create an own universe of humans that make team with one spider always. All correct, all legal. Everybody happy (Do we have The "Through the Omenpaths" set into puzzle quest?, veiled question added)
How many more years do we have to wait to complete the 10 tri-color PWs, which should be a priority for a game where the PW colors determine the deck you can create?
Can we have a clear answer on this?
