And that is the problem. There are multiple reason why certain character will or will not be used much. Picking a character to rebalance NEVER should rely only on who is least used. Ask question "WHY?".

I give ya free answer: There are many factors... but most likely, IMO , is existence of character such as DR STRANGE, POLARIS, FEAR IT SELF JUGGERNAUT, mTHOR or SHANG CHI. No joke speaking, why anybody has to chase any other 3* when Strange and May speed ups PVE by a lot? Why to chase any other than Polaris/Grocket/Juggs in 4* land (and 5* kinda too) when that trio IS making any PVE faster than Quicksilver ever will be?

But even if we exclude above, like we forget that they exist and are like 15+ on 1-10 scale... then the simple reason why a character X is less used is how fast I can use any of their abilities or how reliable they are. For example, Ant-Man needs at least 15+ AP to fire "Grow" (Purple2 or Blue2) AKA his NUKE and if we add fact that it REMOVES all purple and blue swarm tiles... and he has AP cost reduction based on number of swarm tiles on board... Spider-Woman needs 12 AP to fire her red. Elektra (3* and 4* ) has low damage output and their purple is lucklasting. 4* Wasp kit and color overlap autokill ANY synergy she could have with other swarm tile users. 5* is too expensive and convoluted for many players and has only one build (5/3/5 cause her yellow on 4/5 is same as on 3 covers). Yelena has too low health and her red, compared to current AP costs, is lucklusting. 3* Hunter was almost immediatly outclassed by 3* May and 5* kit is convoluted, Peggy is too slow. Gvenom has no good teammates to use her potential and solo she is useless.

Kitty is old character and in current standard of new releases, underpowered. But her kit is still good enough to be used now. 5* Electro is also weak but her AoE DR keep her in use. Especially when paired with 5* Elektra when she can just kill Omera red very fast.

Do I need to continue?

P.S. There is also a factor of being in 5* land. Unless ascened to 5*, 4* and 3* **ARE DEAD ** for me. I would LOVE to use X-23, Mantis, Dazzler, Domino.... I just can't. Yet.

Would gladly like to see 5* Moon Knight rebalanced. Since he wasn't in the list for 5* choices for a current rework I had to add his name separately on the last box. Hope he gets a rework someday.

Like many others I ended up voting for Black Knight, Hydra Stomper, and Cosmo. But I would have voted for Agent Venom if I had the choice too. He's been around since forever in this game and in the same useless state as always.

5* Moon Knight has already been reworked (and he's awesome now!).

She's still terrible. Moon Knight is actually super fun now though!

I picked Moon Knight as my favorite 5 on a survey post-rebalance at one point. Mostly because he’s lots of fun.

I chose Odin Heimdall and Peggy Worthy for the 5 Stars. Odin just sucks and I was so disappointed when he finally made it into the game and he was a big pile of meh.

Sersi is my number one pick, as she was my first champed 5*. Then again, I still actively win with her, so hopefully they don't break the few things that work about her.

I am having a hard time believing that people are using Knull so much, that he wasn’t the least used 5 star. How? How is this even possible? My vote is to rebalance him. He’s one of the worst 5 stars. He does next to no damage. Well come to think of it, neither does Jeffrey. Hmmm. So many 5 stars do next to no damage.

I like Knull because he's got an interesting kit and he's a good meat shield. Sure he could hit a little harder but there are plenty of other worse 5*s. It would be fun to have a sandbox mode so Knull and Peggy could face off 1 v 1 in a fight to the death.
