    This is about as simple a powerset as it gets!

    He's basically a match damage/tank. We'll have to see how he scales up, but I bet he's going to be an annoying 5*.

    Agreed.

    His 30% match damage increase each time he makes a match is exactly the same as Agatha's bonus on her Yellow. So if that's getting out of control fast, this will also when he's ascended and making matches.

    You can even equip something like the Yaro Root on him and get an extra 1500 healing (R5) whenever he makes a match. May not be much for an ascended 5 star version but at 4 and under, that extra bonus heal would pretty much bring him back to full health every turn.

    I hope you're right, because I feel there is still a good chance that is just a flat unchanging match damage buff.

    Sadly I think he's wrong. As strong as it agatha 5 yellow passive is, it's a linear boost. It applies ONE multiplier (+20%/+50%/+...) at any time.

    Blob increases his own match damage exponentially when he eats strike tiles with black passive. Each boost applies to the updated match damage, not to the base match damage. EDIT : I'd have to check again in puzzle, stuff dies too quickly in DDQ but I'm pretty sure that's right ??

    First He has to be a joke and worry his covers be very hard to get

    Second. He has to make the matches. So unless your running a low team. 99 percent of the time He won't be making matches.

    3rd He be given head to everyone.

    If he is like any of the other 2si

    Don't they sell him ascended or is the vault the only way

    It will cost you up to 40k. To get 2 ascended could swear some of the 2s where ascended to 4. For 19.99 or 24.99

    Might spend 20k to get at lease 1 4star

    Too bad it wasn't all wolf and Deadpool. I would of easy spent 40k

    Got 2 star wolf ascended to 5

    Got 3 star Deadpool ascended to 4 and close to 5

    This character is looking like an ascension hero to me; guess we’ll eventually find out since there is no way to target a specific 2*

    I never thought about trying to use a single 2 in DDQ….the harder node seems like it would take too long with the current group for my taste.

    I guess we’ll see how he actually plays, it would be a bit weird to have a 2 that kept boosting its match dmg every time it did match dmg and I’m leaning towards a single boost effect that happens once. Idk why they phrased it that way though.

    For 2s it would be really easy to make one tank. If his effects don’t rise every time he makes a match he seems somewhat mid.

    Pretty crazy that even a powerset like this one has confusing/unclear phrasing that substantially affects the character's value!

    There are several single 2* characters who can solo the 2* nodes, also the 1* node can be solod. Thor is the easiest one to use.

    The wording seems that he wants to be in front and he heals a **** ton. If he is always matching, then there is no reason for a partner. He will match up and then become a beast after 6-7 turns

    But...what if his boost is worded like "gain x% bonus match dmg" because you're choosing how much extra match dmg he does when he makes matches? If it only applies when a match is made that would make him not tank (unlike Colossus). So kind of like the various people who boost the match dmg after the match is made, when it is applied.

    I don't know. I think we really need to see him in action to know what he will do. It could go either way.

    Obviously if his tanking makes dmg keep going up and healing him for a % of each hit he's going to be incredibly hard to kill which makes me a little suspicious that it rises forever. (yeah, I know, his health will be low at low tiers and all that)

    Maybe you are right...but if this bonus is additive there really is no reason to use anyone else in the 2* tier
    He will get fat and just heal himself the entire time.

    I wouldn’t think so, but I wonder if his match damage bonus would stack with Agatha’s. If so, that could be completely out of control once ascended if you team them up with Mthor.

    Cyclops could be fun with that team. Would need DP to tank though, which will be difficult with any of those partners.

    Really good point. It doesn't say anywhere that he ever loses the bonus match damage, or when that might happen.

    It'd be crazy if it just kept going up forever, but who knows!
