This is the way America Chavez's passive works, right? Not ideal to get him massive and tanky (and can be overtaken by Shang Chi quite easily), but still at 5* he should be doing some good damage as long as he tanks his core colours.

It is funny that the very dead headpool is the only deadpool that cannot be searched in roster by typing "dead"

I got it in the first 40 pack, then reset the vault and will go for daily deals/10 packs to try and get another.

One advantage to his bonus damage counting as a separate hit is you could play him with a strike tile producer like you do with Juggernaut and get two separate boosted hits.

Yep. There are a few others like this as well.

Damn, that is definitely a blow to his value, very unfortunate. So basically if he isn't the strongest he has 2 abilities that won't do anything. Add yet another character that needs to have the highest match damage to the too many others.

If he isn't the strongest in at least one color to start, the match damage increase would never trigger -- regardless of how it's implemented.

Technically it's one power (Purple) with 2 passive effects that won't do anything.

Anybody else having trouble with his quest on firing his power? I've activated his red quick bite ability a bunch of times and it hasn't counted any of them. The quests for bringing him into battle have counted.

I was going to comment on this, my belief is that you must be running the 2 star version, so for anyone who bought above it... It says "2star" in the text, which leads me to believe that's why it doesn't trigger for my 3star.

Maybe next time you'll think twice before you support! Or maybe I'm wrong and it's just broken (shrug emoji)

That's probably it. I pulled the 4 star version from the vault and have been using that one. Odd that the other 2 quests don't require the 2 star version though.

My 5 stars all tank everything over him, so he doesn't do much. After ascension I'm sure he'll be better.

Question is how good is he. Is he worth spending up to another 20k. To grab a 2nd 4 ascended

Wonder if miss what would be better if you had enough time

    Go 40. Then 10 10 10
    Or another 40.

Screwed up what should of done today was. Did 40 stopped. Reset. Wait till tomorrow to pull another 40

I should of did the 10 today then the 40 and 10 tomorrow

****. At least next time do that

Not related to the new character but still potent as he is the star of a new quest feature: is anybody having problems trying to pass the second part (Cleo-Deathlok-Wiccan)? I could not defeat this team using the required 3-star Deadpool, not even the 4-star ascended version. I knew that the only way to defeat them was by using the one-hit-kill points version of "Whales! Whales! Whales!", but that proved to be problematic as it kept targeting the purple tiles I needed to fire it, even when attempting to manipulate its moves (for example, the AI will always go after match 4s or greater, but not a match 5 with an L-shape). If it was designed so that I am forced to use the points version, then we have a problem.

Thank heaven I have a ton of points saved up for situations like this. But I felt it would have been better and less painful if I had a second partner. Like the first battle where Deadpool had Wolverine and Hulk, I wish I could have had somebody like one of Doctor Strange or Wong to defeat this specific team.

As I do not have Headpool in my roster yet, I want to know if using him made passing the "Introducing Headpool" campaign easier.

For your roster I believe team ups might be the answer, unfortunately. Champion Ghostpool can discard them relatively simply, but I tried the other pools, it did not go well.

The bonus doesn't affect his tile strengths at all. It's applied after he makes the match. I just tried him out and ran his bonus up to 468%, but it still shows his base tile strengths.

They're not consistent with how they do powers like this though. This could be a bug or it could be intentional. The wording in the power description is no help at all.

Actually this seems to be consistent with others.

Headpool get bonus match damage. This does not affect tile strength.
Toons like 4juggs and Shaw get base match damage increases which does affect tile strength.
    It seems to be consistent.

This is why I posited running him solo for a 2 in ddp.

The 4* gets a 52% match damage boost instead of the 30% at 2*. Will have to wait for one of the sandboxes to tell us about the 5*

It'll almost definitely be lower, but in this case it'd be hard to argue with ascending him since the bonus only applies to him, and 5* match damage is so much higher.

Initial reports indicate the 5* reverts to 30% (a la the 2*)
