Regarding 5* characters

I just played against someone who has a 5* Spider-Girl COMPLETELY leveled up at 550. She just came out! How the heck do they do it? Are they sleeping with the developers? 😂

Seriously. You can’t really spend that much to collect all those covers.

I think we get a post like this every time we get a new 5 star lol. CS will swap covers for you if you have all the latest legends characters already at 550. So if you have all 3 in latest at 550, you can keep pulling covers for those 3 and ask CS to swap them for the new character that isn't in latest yet.

There are quite a few players that have built up enough of a LL token and CP hoard to get all the latest to 550 and then pull more covers to build the new character and keep this train going. You're going to see more and more players instantly 550'ing the new character.

Customer service gifts them the covers.

Yes, customer service. They will swap extra covers of 550 characters in latest legends but only the ones in latest legends. They won't swap extra covers of Shang chi or any other characters in classics.

I easily beat her with my Shang Chi. Actually, he’s very good against almost anyone especially at 550. Don’t get me wrong. He can still get his @$$ kicked, but he’s a great character to use.

It seems to be like those secret menus they have at McDonalds where you can get a triple McEverythingonit burger but only if you know the magic password.

You need to have the latest 3 legendaries at 550
Atm, these would be Phylla, Aunt May and Jubilee
If you then keep pulling in the latest legendary store and get a 5*, you can contact CS and ask them to swap these „useless“ covers for any 5* you want, this also work with shards of these latest 5* but first contact CS don’t just apply them to start a new char!

My Spidergirl is also already at 550 and I’ve already started collecting LTs and shards for whoever the next 5* will be

They do stuff like this often, and the pushback I get is always "anybody who could take advantage of it already knows about it." Well here's someone who could potentially have taken advantage of it, who didn't already know about it, and in fact had no way of knowing! I bet there are plenty more like them!

Remember when they told us to contact CS for missing support shards, or to get retro rewards covers? How many players missed out on those because they don't publicize these policies? Why wouldn't they just tell everyone in game?

I mean it doesn't affect me but I agree with you in every way is possible. Possibly some sort of sacrifice of children is involved? I don't have any 550 but I do have kids! But generally yeah, secret stuff sucks, either make it for everyone who can or don't do it at all.

I haven’t had anything from McDummies since 2014 and glad, but I never knew they had a “secret menu”..

Well, I do hoard LL tokens, but if used up, you can’t always 550 a new character if I'm understanding’s you right. Someone on here mentioned Command Points as well.

Except it's not just for the Latest store. Sometimes they'll do swaps from other legendary stores as well, and the only way to find out which is to ask CS about every one. Generally they'll do it for the Anniversary store, some years they've done it for Lunar New Year (but not every year), and then there's a handful of other random ones. None of this is announced -- the only way to find out is by asking CS every time, or through Line/Discord/whatever.

As far as I can tell they are only going to do swaps for Latests moving forward.

Swaps for any other store in the recent past were against policy but honored because someone said it somewhere.

I would assume only Latests at this point. People ask about swaps for other stores and are ignored for the most part.
