Seems pretty fun! I have no idea if he's good.

In PvE fights where the enemy team is all Doombot goons, does he auto-win?

Could be fun! If Doom tanks, him with Polaris would make him immortal adjacent unless you knock him out in one turn, assuming you get rolling to create enough new attack tiles every time.

The doombot infiltrator is a cool mechanic, curious to see how it plays. The passive doesn’t mention anything about Away though so curious how Doom and Kang’s powers interact.

Probably not viable for veteran rosters but very few 4* are. Could have some interesting uses when ascended though.

Bring 3Bullseye and you get to mix in a bunch of strike tiles, too. Assuming you can find a way for Bullseye to be the one making the kill of the recurring Doombots...

Or spam those bots with Scorpion's purple ability.

Oh, depending on order of operations, this guy could do some pretty hilarious stuff with Court Death.

    +1 to Skittles question above.

Also, this just reads really funny:
"Doom will do anything to ensure that the dark path of the future does not come to be. Throw the worst ability in the game."

I get he heals off of them, so it's better, but when I first read those together I couldn't help but laugh.

Looks like another interesting eventually 5star though, good stuff.

Seems a little highly costed on the purple but I can see why the tradeoff.
If he's any good I can only tell you he has caused me to arch my eyebrows once.
Your reactions may vary and is by no means meant to sway any of you.

That was my first thought too. Regardless of whether the Doombot pops up before or after Court Death, with 5 health you are guaranteed to trigger it again on the next turn by targeting the Doombot so you guarantee firing Court Death 2x as soon as you down 1 enemy.

On the other hand, the self damage on Black to allies is annoying and it's about 10% health too given the numbers.

    KGB

P.S. Just realized he is both a hero and villain which means he can use more supports. Are there any other characters marked like that?

Does he only damage Supernatural or Technologist allies? The wording is odd (as per usual).

    @S0kun

Just had another question pop into my mind. It says if all enemies are doombots you auto win. But some PvE nodes now consists of 3 doombots. Does that mean you auto win those nodes or are these doombots different than regular PvE doombots?

Yes, but that's also how you get the bonus damage. I guess if you just want the plain damage then he's OK with using non Supernatural/Technologist allies. But the bonus damage is probably what makes him useful. Sigh.

No, not yet. (EDIT: nvm, there are a few!)

The attack tile buff is nutters. Will be fun, a lot of strong possible combinations there. WIll be one of the rare release cycles in which the new toy contributes something, has an effect.

    Nebula is Hero/Villain too.

As for the kit, I really like it. It's pretty simple. Not all that wordy either. Yet it has a pretty fun mechanic in the doombots

The way I was reading it, I thought it basically meant each when you down an enemy, they are replaced with an infiltrator. If you get to the last enemy, he is downed. So doesn’t this mean you only have to down the first two and they lose? Automatically downs the third guy the first two. Also, if it’s a wave node, wouldn’t still mean you only really have to kill the first two enemies? Basically, it would work like away works now without the CDs.
