The calendar. The game follows a 4 week schedule which is partially based around the PvP season lasting 3 1/2 weeks, with that small gap between seasons.
Weekend one of new season : new 3/5 Weekend 2: a new support Weekend 3: new 4 (or sometimes a 2, haha) Weekend 4: boss battle and new costume
Every new season the new 4 and 5 enter tokens at the start, as well.
Pushing back anything for a holiday for one culture would not work to their advantage around scheduling etc. Not to mention which cultures do you honor with a weekend off etc?
Every time there is a significant event (new release, boss) that overlaps with a holiday we complain. Nothing changes because their schedule is what it is.
"We" stopped complaining 7 years ago, I think.
I enjoy events over holidays. It generally means I have more time to play.

This probably changes depending on your roster, unfortunately, but at the top end it's a lot less since the normal (i.e. not Heroic) side of the PVE is generally over by Saturday morning. Sure you can grind it for minimal rewards, but everything else is finished. As for the Heroic side, that depends on if your alliance wants you to keep going for the best rank awards, though TBH there isn't a huge difference between top 20 and top 100...

It's a typo that I have no idea how it happened, but it should be 1 Star: Venom (Dark Avengers).

She's second in line. So I don't know where that Fourth came from. Even her planet is the 14th moon.
She’s the fourth person to have used the title Captain Marvel in the comics.
First was Mar-Vell, the original who died of cancer. Next was Monica Rambeau who took the name when she first appeared. She is a human who is unrelated to Mar-Vell. Later she took on different code names. Then was Genis-Vell, the genetically engineered son of Mar-Vell. He created Phylla-Vel, his sister. He died (for a while) and she took the title.
Later it passed to others before eventually getting to Carol.

Just went to do my last clears only to find that the round just finished
Exactly the same for me (and several others in my alliance also missed their clears).
It's happened to me before too. Even though I clocked it at the event start, it still caught me out.
Now I just play S4 and clear either side of sleeping so it makes no difference at all to me.
I almost did my clear early but as I was about to start it at my normal time I looked at the time remaining and noticed that there was an additional hour added to the end time than I was accustomed to and then remembered about it being daylights savings. I’m not surprised though it caused issues with some.
It sure would be great if we stayed at the same time year round instead of these stupid clock changes twice a year.
