I must be playing a different quandary event than y’all. Because so far it goes from mostly annoying to wholly infuriating depending on the board I get.

Nothing says fun like spending 10 minutes trying to match the right tile that’s stuck down in the corner, only for that stupid 10-CD tile to go off. Or taking enough chip damage from “Hue Change” because I matched the right color, but I cascaded into five of the wrong ones.

The “puzzles” aren’t hard. Any idiot can solve them. But taking away the ability use to fire powers just makes this game stupid Candy Crush.

    You're supposed to lose

I literally have brain damage and fully completed the event, while distracted by my wife trying to convince me to get another dog... If you're supposed to lose by design, they failed.

It was a joke from the 2nd Anniversary when they released Galactus boss and we were told we were supposed to lose

I assumed you were being sarcastic.. Mainly because you've been here long enough to know how to roll with things... And I'm pretty sure you had it as a joke in a "meeting" at some point, but can't remember for sure...I just posted what I keep thinking when people say it's too hard because it was funny in my head. Unfortunately, I'm not that funny myself.

I don't think you can call it hard but you can definitely call it heavily board dependent and a little bit tedious. Getting the tiles to drop to the bottom can be obnoxious when you are on the final node and you don't want to quit and start again. I was happy to play to the CP and leave it there.

I hope we do at least get some puzzles that use powers at some point.

On one hand, I like that the whole thing is easier/shorter than a puzzle gauntlet. But on the other hand, it's a few tokens and like 18CP, so the rewards are less too. I think I'd like it better if the iso rewards were x10. They'd still be small but not negligible.

Sadly no new events today so 2 days and that’s it until they rerun it later on this month or we get part 3 and 4 of the story

I also got it completely wrong in that the community challenge is based on what you do overall as apposed to the new story

So if you have enough other things to do like pvp then you can achieve the quandaries without having to complete the story

Yeah I'm thinking the point of this is to provide infinitely repeatable nodes so we can complete some of the community quests (ie gem matching) and some token rewards (the 18 CP being the highlight).

The interrogatory node puzzle is awesome. I'm proud of solving it without seeking for help.
I understand that not everyone will have the wits for to solve it :D

Putting aside any ada accommodation issues, I thought the puzzle types were well done. Yes, there are some I though were very easy vs some that needed pen and paper. But overall I enjoyed the different challenges.

I thought the ascending tile challenge was great and the most engaging puzzle.

I'd just like to confirm, there is no final reward for completing the Quandry PVE? There's just the node rewards? I might not have the time to complete the RNG luck nodes but don't want to miss out on anything!

It’s all what’s in the nodes

I'm just glad they're giving us nodes to do the daily community quests in.
Rewards are a nice side effect.

I hope we open up some more missions in this event.

My guess from looking at the timetable is that it'll have a break and come back. Hopefully as part 3 and 4.

But Clea stopped her! There is no way the villain could come back. It would be a real Quandary....

Get out. Get out and never darken my doorstep again.

I'm not sure I really need Quandary back at this stage unless we understand what her actual point is. Yes she has demonstrated that she could provide pretty effective Disco lighting and she can also do that trick with the ball under the cups but otherwise...what does she actually want? Does she want to borrow some hair dye from Clea? Have we accidentally gone to Ikea and we are trying to find our way out?

    Oh no.
This will be the same dimension as the one with all the sent away people, won't it.

My current record for going into Ikea, finding the item requested by my wife, and getting out of the store, is 4 minutes 53 seconds.

Yes, that's fully unrelated to anything important, but I'm proud of it nonetheless.

During the pandemic we needed a desk for home office. I was In the front door, straight to the warehouse section, grabbed the flatpack box, and out the door. I did school drop off, drove to IKEA, bought the desk, and home in 40 minutes. I am similarly proud.
