Class of 2013 PvE?

There's a new PvE coming today called the class of 2013. No placement rewards, but there's an anniversary token in the placement rewards. Are we starting the 10th anniversary already?

    Things seem messed up with this though.

    No placement rewards?
    Anniversary tokens in progression?

    I hope not. I just max champed 3* Arcade and was looking forward to his PvP with him boosted.

    However, this might explain why Ice never posted a boost list for this week - it seemed odd to only update basically one week in the what's new thread.

    Why would a PVP without placement rewards, not connected to a season, that lasts a week, replace anything?

    2h 1m to go until it starts - not that it will answer any questions probably. I assume we will get Arcade tomorrow.

    Maybe each week leading up the anniversary they'll be doing a "class of" for the next year? I didn't actually do the math but maybe it almost works?

    Sorry for the confusion on this one; publishing is working on an official post to help clarify. Many of you have correctly guessed at the intention here: class of event running as intended, there are future 'class of's to come, we're starting our Anniversary celebration countdown, and want everyone to accrue some of these sweet Anniversary Tokens now to give you all a head start on opening up some serious goodies when Anniversary time rolls around.

    Well that’s pretty neat then. Judging by the quests it would seem to make sense then that we’ll have 11 total of these different events then leading into anniversary in October?

    I’m very much looking forward to earning that 500k iso by the end of it and any other rewards earned along the way is just icing on the cake.

    I would guess next week will be 2014, then 2015, etc, etc till we get to 2023.
